Description
This is the fourth piece of a Disney Princess's take on a Final Fantasy character. I wanted to draw Yuna, since she is one of my favorite Final Fantasy character and X is my favorite game in that franchise, I had a hard time thinking who should do a version of her. I then remembered the reason why Tetsuya Nomura designed Yuna in the furisode style outfit was so she wore something that would create flow and movement when she danced, particularly her iconic sending scene after Sin attacked Kilika Island. And I thought Rapunzel with her long hair woven in the long, but manageable braid would look amazing dancing. And after thinking about it more, she actually has several things in common with Yuna. I looked at the Disney Designer doll line on their take on the princesses' outfits for ideas on how to translate Rapunzel's outfit into Yuna's outfit.

1. They both have healing magic, Rapunzel with her hair and Yuna's role in the game is a White Mage.
2. Rapunzel's short brown haircut looks similar to Yuna's haircut in the sequel.
3. Yuna gets a long braid in the sequel.
4. Both are associated with a flower, Rapunzel with the healing flower and Yuna with a hibiscus.
5. Both are lied and manipulated by the villain, Rapunzel by Gothel and Yuna by the Church of Yevon.
6. Rapunzel and Yuna's love interest, Tidus are associated with the sun.
7. The scene where they sing I See the Light and the scene where Tidus and Yuna kiss are dark scenes with enchanting lighting.
8. Their respected love interests, help open their eyes and minds about the world.

Rapunzel is wearing a black spaghetti strapped undershirt, with a pink corset with green patterns tied with a yellow ribbon with a flower seal, and a glittery cream fabric ruffled on the top and bottom of the corset. Around the corset is a peach ribbon tied in the back like an obi with the ends flowing. A purple skirt with with a pink front, with gold flowing pattern and orange embroidered flowers and lined with gold, and long slits on each side revealing her legs whenever she dances. She wears a pair of purple sandals that are laced all the way to her knees. On her arms are detached sleeves, consisting of a short purple poofy sleeve and a long flowing sleeve with a cream to purple gradient, all held up with a bright green ribbon. Her long blonde hair is woven into a long braid with tiny braids wrapping around the main braid with flowers, the end is held together with a sheer glittery cream fabric with a peach ribbon that matches the one around her waist. In her right ear, she has a long beaded earring, a gold necklace with a flower pendant fashioned after the magic flower, a gold ring on her left finger and two gold bracelets on her right hand. She wields a staff that has an indigo base, a pink top with a purple ribbon woven around it to the base of the ornament and tied into a bow. The gold ornament is fashioned after the magic flower decorated with blue and green jewels. on the other end is a yellow braided lanyard with a charm shaped like a lantern from the Kingdom of Corona. Rapunzel also has Yuna's heterochromia, the right eye is green and the left eye is purple. Rapunzel's long hair, skirt and sleeve create a sense of movement and freedom as she dances and her desire for freedom from a strict controlled life.
