During this spring and summer, I'm putting together a bunch of short mangas to introduce my own characters and stories and the like. For story one , I posted each page separately. For story two , I posted a deviation per double-page. This is page 1 through 6 of story three; which viewing method do you prefer? I'm curious, because I sometimes find it annoying to go through a story page by page waiting for something to load, but when the image is large, it takes long, too...Also, um, for this story, it's more of an introduction to a concept I've been working with. I'm a little scared with how this one comes across because there's a lot of characters, as well as "Junctioners" etc.
The three characters present here usually go by codenames with each other. "Phoenix" is the one I mentioned as similar to Soliet from story two. "Hydra" gets mistaken for a girl so much he lets people think he is one. "Griffin" has a grudge against the mentioned "Chimera", who will show up in story four. ^_^ Ryan, from story one... doesn't know what'll hit him.
As for what is a Junctioner, or a soul junction, hm... what do you think, from the above pages? I mentioned "An Intro" in relation to it back when I started story three. Does that help? I'm curious as to how much story three is getting across, if I'm giving too much information, or too little. Sorta so I know what I should explain before I stuff more into the artist's comments section

Ditto on the double pages format; much easier. I'm so happy you've finally got this story going, and I will have to do many unpleasant things to you if you just leave it here forever and never get it started again.
I agree with bloo-chan; too much cross-hatching, but the universe frame made it look damn good. The whole story sounds fascinating, the characters are intriguing, and I have to admit I forgot about Hydra being a guy and thought he was a girl. It's the hair. But oooh, the hair! And so many bishies! I don't know where to look first!

And heh, if I don't continue after I finish these four stories for my class, feel free to do many unpleasant things ^^ I'd deserve it. (InnerMe: Yeah, it's about time!)
Point taken on the cross-hatching and on the universe frame. I rather liked how it turned out on that frame actually. That's why I ended up using it on the rest of it for consistancy... But yeah, too much of a good thing doesn't mean the same...
Drawing Hydra is fairly easy. I think "draw a female. YES, that looks like him now.." and it gives me an excuse to practice drawing girls more ^^ Heh. I sometimes do the same for Ryan, but then he gets annoyed, and I end up drawing him over again and again... More bishies coming soon *L*

Having just looked at all three of your stories, I think I like the viewing method of 2 pages at a time best. I also love your pacing and lineart; these comics are awesome!

Thanks! You're actually the first to say the 6-page format is prefered. I think I'll stick with 2 pages now though. A lot of people voted for that instead. ^^ And no, I don't put these on another site. If I find them on another site without permission, I'll definitely do something about it though.

I definately prefer the double page viewing, it's more scrollable than 6 page, but with less clicking than single page (and thus the easiest way for my lazy mouse hand
As for the story, I love it, and I'd seriously like to see a full manga or webcomic made out of it.
