Possible spoiler if you haven't seen ep. 134 of Naruto or are not up to date with the last completed arc in the manga series. Okay, how many of you saw ep. 134 and thought this was what was going to happen? Anybody???? ... Or maybe it's just me. XD I'm not a fan of the Naru/Sasu pairing (personally I think their relationship is strictly between very good friends and rivals--maybe not anymore, though), but the last shot of Sasuke kneeling over Naruto like that really got my imagination going. ~_^ That particular battle was dragging on so long it was starting to look a little DBZ-ish, but boy did it end with a bang! The fighting sequences in the Naruto anime is the best thing it has over the manga in my opinion.

I wanted to make it look like it was a screenshot but not really since it's an extrapolation of what I saw, so I ripped the color scheme from the actual scene and used a tiny bit of non-cel shading. I also went overboard with the rain and the shinyness--ah well. Well, I ended up liking the coloring and hating the lineart, which is ironic... Oh, and the subtitle! I've always wanted to do a subtitled anime screenshot-esque thing!! XD Man, I need to work on my backgrounds. T_T Also, I still don't like Sasuke. Poor Naruto. T_T Lines are in scraps as usual, even though I don't like them anymore. I kind of want to do them over again with a different angle--and I would if I hadn't spent so much time coloring this version. Argh. Maybe next year.
