Description Betcha' getting fed up of this pic! I'm not.

I really MUST stop procrastinating, I'll never get anything done for my portfolio at this rate.

I had another play with PSP9. This time with the paint brush, as opposed to the airbrush I used for my other three digi-pics. I actually like the paint brush more. Gives a nicer effect, methinks.

The only thing I don't like on this is the vortex thingy. @.@ At least the parts tailing off it. Maybe I should've got rid of the pencil lines. I quite like the area where Celipa's hand 'touches' the vortex. One thing I REALLY like is Celipa's hair. I think it might be because I used the paint, 'cause Bardock's hair turned out ok too, and I used the same technique I used for Raditz's hair. And you know how much I like that(!)

*pokes Celipa's tail* X3 I'm really happy with how that came out, it actually looks furry. XD

It's unbelievably difficult to draw a circle with a mouse @.@; hence the uneven edge on the navy blue around Bardock.

I think...I actually like this better than the coloured pencil version But I'm not giving up on traditional colouring, because I still enjoy it a hell of a lot more. Plus it doesn't hurt my eyes as much.

Dunno how long it took me in total. I would've probably had it done in about 3 hours or so if I'd stuck at it but meh. I get bored easily. I was going to change the date on it but...well...I'm lazy.

Overall I'm very happy with this. And now I must go, because my hands are cold and numb. Anyone'd think it was winter. Yay.

badaku ish really awsum...and i luv seli's hair 2..her tail might need a bit mofe fluffing..but yes i can see it's quite nicely dun...luving her hand touching the vortex fx...her clothes r nicely shaded...i thinks i really like most of it^^

yus i thinks ur doing great for learning.....i learned fluffing tekneeks straight away..cus well i xperimented with all te little buttons n bits in gimp^^and found te smearing button great.....

I dunno. But, if you're unsure of whether to leave it or not, another thing you could try is selecting that area on the lineart layer, and colourizing it pink to at least blend in better. Can you do that in PSP? I dunno, I only have Photoshop.

You mean, sitting at the computer to colour it irritates your eyes? 'Cause I get that sometimes.

Still, nothing specific to say. Happens a lot. But I like it. :3

Hmm...not sure if PSP has that but I shall have a gander. I'm sure I remember seeing it. Thanks for the advice, I'm kinda just using trial and error at the mo so I'm probably doing stuff the hard way.

Haha, yeah exactly. I seem to forget to blink when I'm colouring. Though my dad made the point that pencil crayons could potentially be worse for your sight, especially if you accidentally stab them into your eyes.

Don't worry. I myself used trial and error for Photoshop, and eventually, I learned a lot of funky stuff. It's actually good to just experiment, I think. You can only learn so much from a tutorial or another person; to make up your own cool stuff, all you can do IS mess around randomly. ^_^
