"Tarupoleon at the Battlefield of Sarumague Champaign"This large drawing was the Grand Prize winner of Gamepro Magazine's FFXI Art Contest.
It's a madeup battle in the game based off of a famous painting of Napoleon which, unfortuantely, I've since forgotten what it's called.

Hmm, I thought this was when San d'Oria fought the Mindartia continent... The Battle of Sauromugue Champaign... And then after this, Humes came into power.
But, JEEZ. This is so... so... no words. ><; It really strikes my heart on how much effort you put into this... 24+ hours? Amazing. This deserves something for you much more than the title of "Grand Prize Winner".

The only Mithra ... I think ... is the one wearing the white mage garb holding the smaller figure. Man this is old haven't looked at it in a long time hahaha.

Heh, I know the painting. Can't remember the name but I think it has to do with Waterloo. Anyway great work on this, and I think I've even seen the GamePro that's it's in...but I don't have it..so meh >.>

WOW. And now wow as in warcraft I mean wow as in holy crap-taru. This is very good work. I see you took a lot of license with the mithras and galkas. (Is that a male mithra i see?) Very strong composition, fabulous detail and novel and clever idea of using one part ffxi one part classic fine art. Kudos!
