This is the first time I've tried drawing without a lineart. I think. Flowers...are...killing...me OTL I'm laying off flowers for a while.This took so long ;____; especially with my brother over my shoulder and bothering me for the past 3 hours. akjfhakafkaagoawayplz

i like this one C: everything on this is so pretty! i've got a few questions about lineart. do you use lineart for hair, or do you just CG the hair without? and how thin of a lineart do you use?

For this one, I didn't use lineart. What I did was scan in a sketch, and colored over it (like what you would do in oil and acrylic painting. Here's a WIP shot.

haha thank you! I did do a bit of lining after finishing the picture, for defining some parts.
Your picture looks nice! For suggestions, maybe using more layers of color? I'm really into using several shades of a color that are similar to each other for each part of the picture. Other than that, I'm not too good at giving out tips ; u; Good luck!

It's really beautiful. I love how the shrubbery and flowers are blurry. ;D The only thing that kinda bothers me are her shoulders. They're kinda off. Her right shoulder (our left) seems like it's broken. :/ Apart from that, I love the feel of the piece~

Nice job on the flowers anyway! The painty style and the more focused person in the center gives it a kind of photo effect. You know, like if you take a photo with a DSLR, and the things not in focus are actually drastically blurred?
