WHY can't I find any other fanmade Puella Magi?! D:
About three minutes into this show I knew it was going to be my favourite this season. And so, here is my long over-due Puella Magi Madoka Magika OC: Hibiki Kanade.
She was really fun to design. I was in sort of an art block at the time and so I complied her from bits and pieces of random pictures I found on a image board. That being said, it turned out a bit complex...so I'll post some other shots of her costume later because I should have gone to bed an hour ago, haha. <.<;

Bio:
Hibiki, Kanade - 14 (so she says) - f - Mahou Shoujo
Kanade is a quiet girl at first glance, but she's always ready for a fight and can be quite off the wall at times. She's better than average grade-wise, but her real talent is, of course, in athletics. However, before becoming a mahou shoujo singing was her passion. She's recently learned how to play various guitars though, and so has fallen in love with them. She's very sweet and considerate unless you get in her way, in which case she will toss you to the curb like a bag of trash. On that note, she's not prone to make permanent attachments to people because many have left her in the past, but she does enjoy the company of others.
Her color is orange and her weapon of choice is a deep red guitar that she swings like a bat. However, she's also adept at using her voice to sing and manifest physical spells to trap her foes. Kyubey is not the one who turned her into a mahou shoujo, and she's not sure what happened to the messenger who did [link] . However, her wish was for immortality, in the sense that she will never grow old or die of old age or sickness. She is indeed quite killable though. Due to her wish being to be frozen in time, she has the ability to slow down others and speed up herself.
Also due to this wish, her soul gem is permanently attached to her back at the base of her neck. It protrudes partially when transformed so that it is visible as is on all other mahou shoujo. Otherwise it looks like a raised, upside-down sakura-petal-shaped scar from underneath her skin. It's about the length of the back of her hand, and gets about half as wide. It's peach colored with a gold border (can be seen at [link] ). The soul gem sustains her body so it doesn't age or get sick, but in exchange it gets muddled a lot faster because it's constantly working. Also, while it's not easy for her to lose, it's easy for others to find...
