Home maintenance. Like witchcraft, not enough homeowners practice it. And also like witchcraft, the results of regular home maintenance will ensure the long term stability of fluctuating property values. It's simple really. If you buy something of value, you take care of it. Doesn't matter if you plop your ass on a golden throne or pop a squat in a lean-to in backwoods swamp country. Property requires repair. And you've got to keep it regular. Otherwise...it all goes to crap. And then you end up with something like this place.

A lot of time, money and, I assume, labor law violations went into erecting this edifice to poor planning. And now it's crumbling. Of course that's not the real issue here. It's a castle. In purgatory. A place filled with souls who wouldn't lift a finger to scratch their spiritual backsides. Only a crazy person, paranoid about the safety of their eternal soul, would construct the most fortified structure in human history, in the middle of a metaphysical plane with no apparent conflict whatsoever. Who in God's name is this medieval panic room supposed to defend against? And why is it so hard to get inside it!?!

Despite how it turned out, which I like, this picture was a struggle from start to finish. And it is the first one this year that has felt like that. I don't if it was outside circumstances, or the introduction of perspective, or maintaining proportions between the way too many Goobers, but whatever it was, this was tough...
Anyway, enough complaining. Tell me what you think.
