Desoto and Rosco, two new characters, actually made a day or two ago.
I'm not going to say a whole lot about Desoto right now because i've been drawing a comic in school starring him. I'm already 3 pages in (i just started the fourth one) and once i get at least 10 pages done i'll scan them, post the traditional version in scraps, then outline, color, and shade it all in PS. (i'm mostly uploading it before i do that just so i can take it to my computer rather than my parent's which has the scanner)

but all i'll say is that Desoto the Banette is a trader, though he was once owned by a trainer, he separated from them after an incident with Team Rocket. He worked alone for a while until he came across a little Drifloon that had been abused by it's trainer. Feeling pity for it, he took it in and that very drifloon, named Rosco as you can see, is his assistant. Rosco is still rather young but is very determined to be strong. Since he's still young he doesn't want to evolve yet and wants to keep his cuteness the same until he gets older. The two have a very competitive rivalry with a Staraptor and a Linoone (yet to have their names decided but i have their character designs down) who are traders as well. They often get into very dangerous fights and whatnot, though they try not to publicize it all, despite that it happens rather often, but most of those who are nearby tend to find it as entertainment. Also, that Needle that's going through Desoto's back and chest holds him together, like a curse. If it's position is shifted, pulled or pushed farther in one direction, it will cause him EXTREME pain, also causing flashbacks of before he was a banette (not a shuppet, mind you. He was always a banette. You'll understand this is you've read the descriptions for a Banette :I) as will it cause excessive bleeding which will require a bit of time to heal as well as a lot of medical attention. that's all i'll be saying for now. A lot in the comic is self-explanatory though.

Also another note, I've never been sure if those two things on the side of Banette's head were ears or spikes. But for the sake of characterization i made them ears for Desoto. I don't see them as ears often but it helps define his character and it's VERY helpful for displaying emotion.

I haven't developed Rosco nearly as much, but he looks up to Desoto like a GOD. They have a brother-like relationship, seeing that Desoto will get easily frustrated of him, but will be incredibly protective of him from others. As you can see his "hands" aren't as rounded as other drifloons, that was added so they could be used more like hands.
