Fixed up the Close up and a few colors <3 fjksldajg i love his eyes.

I'm hoping this is the final version, maybe? Hmmm..

Ciaran's levelheadedness is just about scary, showing very little emotion. He's the kind of person who could walk in public and do something considered abnormal with a blank expression if he really wanted. He can be very sarcastic, however, if he finds the target to it being deserving. Perhaps he does not know how to show his feelings well, or is just unwilling to do so. While he has a wonderful pokerface, it certainly doesn't help him when it comes to expressing himself at all, or when attempting to get close to others..

I have been given this notebook today, Mama told me I should record everything in here that has a meaning to me.. I am Ciaran the Latios. My kind is considered to be the Guardians of a small town located in the Hills on the bank of a river. Mama and I live near it, because it’s our job to watch over these hills, and the mortals, as Mama calls them, worship us for it. I have been here all my life, yet I’ve never gotten to speak to many of them face to face. Mama won’t let me, but I’m sure there’s a good reason for it. She lets me see one though, I’m not sure why. I like her, this mortal, her name is Fiona. She plays with me a lot, it’s nice… She tells about what the others in the town do a lot. Speaking of mortals, they often go to the top of the tallest hill and pray to us, or ask for a blessing of some sort that’s normally for children. I know every one of them by heart since Mama has us go and listen to them, though we make ourselves invisible. After flight, that was the first thing she taught me……

I’m surprised my friend is still alive and well, most mortals don’t last this long. It has been a long time since I first met her, and she’s grown old for many of her kind. The town she lives in, the one in the hills, it has grown to a city now.. While it’s still not a large city, it is much larger than before, it’s almost frightening. Fiona tells me not to fret though, that change comes with time, and fighting it would be a pointless struggle of denial.. or something of the sort. Mama tells me similar things, though I can see she is sad about it.. I trust Fiona though, she knows much more about the mortals than I do.

Mama’s gone.. I can’t find her anywhere, she didn’t come home today. She went out to go to the hill while I was asleep to listen to the prayers of the mortals, but she didn’t return. I went there to see if I could find her, but she wasn’t anywhere. I’m planning to talk to Fiona about it, but she hasn’t left the city in a bit. I worry for her as well, with how old she’s become, but surely.. Surely she wouldn’t leave when I need her most? She is strong, I’m sure she is fine.. But for now I must take over Mama’s duties, I cannot leave the mortals. As much as it upsets me she is gone, there is no good in spending forever pretending as if I don’t have a life of my own to continue.

He begged for me to save her, Fiona’s son. I heard him on the hill, crying, holding her.. I wasn’t supposed to, but I showed myself. I let him see me; I didn’t want to watch my friend go without seeing her again. He was scared; I could see it so clearly. I remember Fiona saying something about a fear of the Legends rising up in the city for some reason, but that was a long time ago, and it had never been a problem, so I disregarded it. I saw it there though, how scared he was. Fiona had probably asked him to bring her there to see me. I couldn’t do anything for her, though. I cannot save those already set to death. I held her in my arms as she left the world, that’s all I could do, and though she didn’t say it, I’m sure that’s what Fiona wanted. I never cried before, at least not like today.

The mortals stopped going to the hill, they set their focus on expanding their city, using absurd contraptions to move around quickly, from what I can see from my home. The river is no longer clean, the fish have all left, it is barely there anymore, even. I can barely fit to swim through it like I used to. It is obvious they do not care. I took a trip inside today, disguised as one of them. They spoke of me as an old legend, as if I were something silly, as if I didn’t exist. I went to Her son, to ask him to right the wrong, to ask him to save the dying flame. He said it was already dead, though. He himself was old, and would be called a crazy old man for it. Nobody would believe him. I cannot deny that. My time being the guardian here, it is done. The role has been played, and has now ended. I don’t know where to go now. I pray to all beings higher than me, I pray to my mother’s soul that there is somewhere for me to go from here, that this will not be the end of my very being. There is more to life than the mortals, but I feel as though I must have a reason to be. It does not upset me any longer they are like this, they have so obviously proven that they can handle themselves in a wonderful manner.

It has been 28 mortal years of traveling since I left the hill and the city to search for where to go next in my life. While this being alone bothered me at home, I feel free. I have met a few other beings similar in having a status even slightly related to my old one. They spoke of a place to go to, a place for beings like us when to the mortals we aren’t real. That is my destination. That is where I must go. Leaving that broken old city, leaving what I can no longer serve, that is what I believe has brought the best out in my life. Thank you, Fiona, Mama.. I understand why you departed when you did, now. I have you to thank for this new beginning of mine, not just the city. Everything that had once seemed bad, does not appear to be that anymore, it is all much easier to understand this way.

Fun Facts:
- He keeps a notebook with him at all times, specifically the one given to him by an old friend. He writes everything that has meaning to him in it, good or bad, every important and possibly important part of his life is held in that book (how that long of a time fits in it? We will never know.) It is not recommended to try to take this, it means everything to him. He does not let anyone look in it, touch it, watch him write in it, let alone take it.
- While he doesn't stop others from doing this like he would when writing in his notebook, it bothers him when others watch him read (as seen in the close up)
- He loves soda and sweets, "best things mortals ever did." as he would say.
- Probably wins staring contests.
- Though things sometimes seen to annoy him (as he does not smile much), most of the time his expression is rather blank. He holds a straight face as constantly as he is able to.
- He can be brutally honest, as he finds it stupid to lie most of the time..
- He can "breathe" underwater through his psychic abilities, just as other Latios and Latias can do. While he can only stay under for a limited time. He does this often when upset by something enough that he feels he must avoid contact with others in order to see him showing that much emotion.
- He can "become invisible" through his psychic abilities like the rest of his kind can. While he can move around however the heck much he wants, he will be able to be seen again by simply coming in physical contact with another living being or by performing an attack of ANY kind, status moves or not.
- Again, as others of his kind, he is able to take on the appearance of a mortal, though he does this only when necessary, like going into cities or towns for example.. Though it is incredibly difficult for him to do this at all, making the amount of time he can stay like that for horribly limited. He used to be better at it, though he's slowly becoming less and less able to do this.
- Headcanon voice is that of Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet.
- You know he likes you when he says "you're tolerable". It's his way of saying "I like you a lot" really. He's not all that good with opening up with nice words.
- He's very awkward when it comes romance, flirting, and things of the sort. He just doesn't know how to deal with it, how to react and respond.
