Before she was empress, Kila was a rebellious tomboy of a princess who would tend to sneak out whenever her widowed father wasn't looking and go exploring Mikana. When she wasn't doing that, she would usually sit in her room garbed in a dress which limited her movements (and would usually tear if she so much as lifted her leg just a few feet than it would allow rather easily) with the only source of entertainment being a ball of Rolisicite she would play with until she got bored and toss it aside... which was often. In fact, the only person she ever talked to aside from her father, was Tliva, the captain of the royal guard and childhood friend.
