did this great pic of an alien reptiliomorph OC of mine, named Salavern! If you can't tell by the suit of biomechanical armor he's wearing, Salavern is potential minion concept for Tiamab, alongside the likes of Malicon & Gelga, fitting more along the line of traditional tokusatsu inspired kaijin villains. Expect more Tiamab minion concepts soon, with different takes on the sort of company our favorite blue space tyrant keeps, from monsters like Salavern to seijin more in keeping with Tiamab's appearance....I'm a sucker for multiple choice XD.

Anyway, on to Salavern himself. Salavern is a sly, slippery scourge of a kaijin, perfectly happy to shoot someone in the back or snap their neck from behind rather than face them directly when possible. Its not that he's a coward, its more that he's coldblooded both literally and figuratively, he sees no sense in "fighting fair" when he can instead fight to win, and anyone stupid enough not to watch their backs at all times deserve to suffer an early, undignified end by his hand. Salavern's combat pragmatism makes him well suited to the most unsavory of tasks, and his stealth & tracking skills allow him to serve Tiamab as an expert huntsman, his environmental suit enabling him to thrive outside of his native, watery environment. It is often said Salavern is the cruelest of Tiamab's followers, & it is wise to always keep one eye on him unless you wish to end up in a shallow, marshy grave. His name is a portmanteau of "Salamander" & "Wyvern," a suitably sinister sounding name for one such as him.
