Description
While crawling around Monster Island Battra has discovered the cocoon of his rival Mothra beneath the waterfalls. The defender of Earth must now decide if he should spare Mothra and let nature run its course or if he should destroy her before she turns into her powerful adult form and possibly be a threat to him.

March of Monsters first entry! Finally drew a Battra that didn't want to make me yell and scream. He's a tough draw in both of his forms. I like his hurly burly caterpillar form best, and want to challenge myself by having his long body wrapped about so he could fit on the page. He's got so many layers of armor and color to contend with. I might take another run at his adult form later. After drawing him I noticed there was space for another. I decided to try and draw Mothra in a form that most rarely do. Her cocoon! I liked the idea of it being formed under some waterfalls so I did my best to set that up.
