WTF is this thing?Β Is the Muto a creature that hibernated itself in a Cocoon and now the military has uncovered it, or is this a Muto that is going to pull a Mothra and come out with wings and F*** things up??Related content

My theory: could be a skull of a giant creature (maybe a dead godzilla) which dr serizawa is going to explore thats why u see thees huge bonesΒ in the trailer. They said muto need to lay eggs inside other creatures, and this looks like the place where the winged muto rises.

I think it's a cocoon. The setting seems to match up with the scene in one of the earlier trailers where a MUTO is roaring and looks like it is being restrained by cables. Maybe it was the MUTO hatching?
