(So you're likely asking "Why is Gamera so humanoid?" I simply wanted to try something different, something radical for the character, and then looked at how I could make Gamera into a more ferocious fighter, more anime-styled and more heroic-looking. The classic Gamera is great and all and there's a delightful charm in his nigh-immobility, but I wanted to swing with a humanoid, TMNT-esque look because...well, I felt like it)

Gameranime - GAMERA

A warrior of insurmountable strength and bravery, Gamera was one of the last of the SuperMonsters created to defend the planet from Legion. It was Gamera who led the final charge against the alien menace, and it was also Gamera who helped the last remaining Atlanteans create the Mana Chargers that would contain the other SuperMonsters, as well as himself (gaining him the title of The Last Hope). Centuries later, after the accidental destruction of the "Devil's Whistle," the failsafe on the Mana Chargers was broken, and the SuperMonsters were reborn! Now Gamera, with his spunky human ally Kiri, must fight and contain the other SuperMonsters as their newfound human hosts unlock the ferocity within.
