Today I bought new painting paper <33 So of course I wanted to try it out!

lol Oddly enough, it's a series that I think gets more promo through fandom than from official sources. I got into it for the fanarts in DA

I think one of the best parts is that the characters are so prone to parody and everything. No matter what you do, they always look good. Even crossdressing lol

Yes well... this is the first time (I think) that another person (YOU XD) gave me the idea for a manga. Before I always found my fav manga/anime myself. (or in some case through a magazine)

I usually find manga and games myself too, since I'm picky XD Artworks do a lot on me though XD I guess the only manga I got recommended on and loved was Ghost Hunt.
I want to draw Giotto someday. There's simply too many lovable characters, and so little time to draw them XD

Watercolors, is it? The effects are quite pretty, especially the little branch in his hand. May I ask how you've managed to create the butterfly patterns on his kimono? Are those digitally created? Or stamped? (I refuse to believe you hand drew them, unless you're really that awesomely epic. XDD I'll idolize you~) I very much admire traditional arts, and your work is very much up to standards (not just up to standards, my bad... XD It's lovely!)
Although his face and neck somehow bothers me a bit... but I'm not here to be a bad and mean critique, so all's good~ 8DDD
You've certainly done a good job~ have I mentioned that his hair looks lovely too? Well, now I have. XDD Keep up the good work~ hope to see more KHR from you~~~

Yes, watercolors. I love drawing with watercolors. You can do sooo much effects with those. But it's rather difficult sometimes...
Oh and I used stamps for the butterflies. I just bought them on the day I made this picture. So of course I wanted to test them out xD First I wanted to stamp white butterflys on his kimono, but the white was not opaque enough, so I used pink/red ones insted :> (yeah, now you encouraged me, to try drawing these little butterflys myself, lol xDD)
Well as long it is constructive critique, I think it's good
