Oh my God, I do not understand how You can do such sculptures with such small details. I personally think, that people who are doing with Sculpture, they are very patient and talented... Fantastic work.

To be fair, I wrote my earlier comment some time ago, so now I must admit that my method of featuring changed and I no longer feature the same person with every update (back then I would feature several people at a time, so this was possible.) These days, I choose a different deviant once in a while, and post several of their deviations to give a single artist more of a spotlight. For now I'm featuring my new friend ~Psithyrus but you're overdue for a new feature of your own!

He has such a sweet, wistful look on his face, definitely the sort of cutie that no one could resist hugging!
The beautiful little painted details on his tail, legs, etc are fantastic.

Hehe, this is one of those cases where I think I got... really lucky with the expression. I keep loving doing the little ripple dot patterns. Gotta work my way up to something more complex, but for now... I am very happy with him.
He's also symmetrical enough that if I ever start casting them I'd probably want to cast him. A lot of my figures end up having mild lumps and things that make them feel less... perfect to me.

With an artist like you, luck doesn't exist- it's skill!
I would imagine that it would be incredibly difficult to work the lumps out, so I'm happy that it turned out lumpless here. Is it possible to sand them off after the fact?

Oh yes~! You can sand them after the fact but you may lose some of the smaller details doing that. And some things can't be corrected through sanding... just improved!

He was made relatively recently, but... it was still actually quite some time ago. I think part of why he came out so nice is that I started with a brand new miniature paint brush on him.
