Backstory:

The twin to brother Adeben, Amana is the cold to his warm soul. Orphaned after birth the pair were raised by a teacher within the pride who trained them in whatever skills deemed necessary and worthy of their pride. Amana cared for their caretaker though she often wondered whether or not they would have turned out differently had their mother survived bringing them into the world -- family was a concept that consumed her in cubhood. The little leopon longed to learn what it meant to be bonded by blood so strongly to another as parent and child. That's not to say that she was distant at all with her twin, quite the contrary. Amana loved her brother to the point of obsession. As they grew she became convinced that his gentle nature would someday get him killed.

Clearly, that could not be allowed to happen.

Amana tasked herself to become a protector for her brother. Whatever he did she would do as well, following at his side lest he land himself in hot water. In her heart Amana knows Ben is more than capable of dealing with threats. He is her brother after all. Just as well does she know that Ben's soul, pure as it is, would never allow him to take another's life save for the most dire circumstances. Luckily he has a sister more than willing to set her fangs into his enemies' throats the moment his back turns upon them.
