You know I ran an Only War campaign that ended up like this. All but one PC resigned themselves to their fates the last swore himself to chaos.So while the others were rolling up some new chars, I had him running ammo in the trenches of the traitor forces. He was stripped of everything but his boots and pants, forehead branded with the Eight point star and literally chained to crate filled with magazines for the traitor PDF's autoguns. The others eventually freed him cut the star out of his forehead, cauterized the wound and mustered him back in. He was later stepped on by a defiler, but the PC playing a Commissar was probably going to execute him anyway. Good times.

If I was the head of the execution team, or member of the Commissariat in lead, I would say to shoot the Lieutenant on charges of cowardice, promote the Sargeant to Lieutenant (since we have an opening!) and send the Corporal to my offices. I need a better aide than the guy who checked her prosthetic.
