I heard something about a HD release, but I'd rather appreciate a remake for Blood Omen, it'd be lovely to see the original wicked Kain spilling blood in today's graphics.

The bad thing is the Blood Omen games and the SR-s never had been a whole piece, Crystal Dynamics always put Raziel's line into focus and whatever reboots they make that won't include Blood Omen and Kain.
I think a Blood Omen reboot could be made by Silicon only as (thank godness) it's still their property, but they couldn't do anything as Crystal took over the Legacy of Kain title and it became rather associated with Raziel and characters from his games than the original.

^^ I think that Crystal are very attached to the LoK games .I'm playing Tomb Raider:Anniverssary and I just saw a portrait of Kain at Lara's Manor ^^.I also heard that you can unlock the soul reaver in Tomb Raider :Legend and play with Raz/Kain in the new TR ^^. I think that they realy want to make a new game,but it is just those stupid Edios and Square who don't let 'em do it >.>

Yes, they're attached to the LOK games, but to the Raziel line only, BO1 is Silicon's work, and even if Crystal made BO2 they made it of low budget, most money were invested into TR games and the SR line. I feel that Crystal thrown out the original Kain, replaced him with mr green and made the story focusing on their own character Raziel, I have no hopes for Kain games in the future, they may make a lot of SR games, but no more games with the original Blood Omen and Kain concept. The easter eggs in Crystal's Tomb Raiders that assumes Crystal sees profit in the Raziel games, but no easter eggs related to the Blood Omens. That portrait from Defiance is present in all 3 new TR games (burns in the 3rd one when the manor is lit up) and really can use the Reaver in Legend. That Guardian of Light TR game looked retarded, seen only videos of it, and it was like a horrible joke, made me felt sorry for the TR title being twisted beyond recognition. Seen those crossover character skins too, but Raziel and mr green can't open my purse 
At least Anniversary is a decent remake, I loved playing it, the only bad thing is they rewritten the dialogues and made Lara a soft and sensitive character. But Natla was awesome with her insectoid appearance, felt more demonic, that was a good change to her businesswoman look in TR1.
