Jericho was hesitant. This never happened. Normally, when he wanted something, or someone, he'd dive right in like his old raider self. Prime example : Jenny Stahl, poor girl never got the chance to fully kick his ass while the rest of the Stahl clan was restraining him before Sherif intervened. Sure he never liked Jericho but Doc was tired of stitching up drunks.

But now, he was hesitant. That goody-two shoes Jenna Manse from the Vault, recruited Jericho about a couple of hours ago, (It took double the usual caps, but she got him aboard). She was great with a bb-gun and hunting rifle, but pistols were a foreign language to her. She asked Jericho to teach her how to shoot with one, just in case she ran out of bullets for her hunting rifle or in the heat of battle or something.

Jericho kindly told her to fuck off.

Eventually after some hours of nagging and Dogmeat tearing up his boots, he agreed.

Oh for fucks sake!

So here they were. He started to explain to her how to hold the pistol, methods of quick removal and any other sage advice of his past Raider life. Jenna ofcorse began on the wrong foot with this auditory teaching. Literally. Her stance was crap and she would probably topple over if she tried to shoot the damn gun. He's seen bad shots but there was a limit to this!

He marched behind her, adjusting her hips correctly. But he didn't move. He held his arms, she didn't notice. They were close. Really close. The comparison of her pale sunburned skin to his dark tanned one was like snow to coal.

He was her puppeteer this time. She was under his control. That is until she realized that her personal bubble was no longer personal.....
