Description Updated Version. Besides removing the background and adding the reflection to the helms I modified the mouth pieces so make them look more like the Ninja Storm ones, also made a few improvements on the black and yellow rangers' helms and recolored the gold ranger )wasn't happy with the previous color scheme), I also added the symbols, or most likely (again), the best thing I could do to the symbols of each ranger's spirit.

About
-----------------------------

I made this team basing up on both PR Ninja Storm and MMPR Season 3. I wanted to create a Ninja themed PR team but I liked more the Ninjetti idea from MMPR3 than the concept behind PRNS. In the end I mixed them together to for these.

First of all, I know the Ninjetti theme is not entirely accurate to the MMPR3, but that is because I also like the idea behind the Ninjetti from the movie so I mixed them both. As for the Rangers, I know the core team has the xact same colors as my previous project, but that is entirely a coincidence, I came up with the idea first and chose the colors last, which is why I didn't noticed until I was already coloring them. On the bright side, they're not the same shades as I entirely changed Yellow and Green.

Now for the spirits, their inner animals, I chose animals related to their elements, but I have to say, Red was the hardest one since I didn't wanted to use a Fox because I think its more proper for a female and I wanted the Red Ranger to be male, and didn't want to use a Lion, Tiger or Dragon, since I used all of them already, but it turns out, there are not many options out there for Fire, so I decided on Lion since it wasn't on the main team from my previous work. Black and Blue were really easy, Yellow was a bit of a challenge because I didn't wanted to use a Bear or a Wolf (they were already on MMPR3), in the end the Deer was a nice choice. Green was entirely chosen after MMPR Movie, if you've seen it you'll know why. And Gold was chosen after Hexagon's original plot, I simply changed it a bit to fit my team, making it somehow ressemble the Thunder Rangers from Ninja Storm since it is realted to them (concept wise).

After Hexagon was formed and their first three primary protection teams were formed, it was time to begin with their iniciative of protecting troublesome zones. Taking their first step with the already known Ninjetti from Ninjor and with his aid, Billy Cranston started working on coins to channel the Ninjetti powers to the holders, and aid them channel their inner spirits. Was during this time that Jason Lee Scott, as part of his personal goal to train more suitables Mentors than he thought he could be, returned to hexagon with Hunter Bradley, the once Crimson Ranger and now headmaster at the Thunder Ninja Academy, taking this chance to let Hunter learm from someone as wise (and rather odd) as Ninjor to enhance his knowledge of Ninja Arts, and to become the mentor of the now-in-development-team, but for such task, he had to be taught in the Ninjetti ways. It didn't took Hunter much time to realize how the inner spirit of one could help them in battle against evil, and combining the newly acquaired knowledge and adding both Thunder and Wind Ninja Academies art of elemental manipulation, perfecting it with Ninjor's aid, he was ready to become the mentor of a new team of Ninja Rangers.

Once his training was over, and the new morphers were ready, Hunter returned home and as part of Ninjors teachings to him, he decided the Thunder Ninja Academy would have to have two new branches, Fire and Darkness, since they were both elements used by ninjas and were not present in the previous Ninja Rangers. He knew that as the headmaster at the Thunder Ninja Academy, and with the new power entrusted to him by Hexagon, he was sooner or later going to be attacked, either by Lothor or some other freak, so to prevent the Thunder Ninja Academy to follow the same fate as thw Wind Ninja Academy with Lothor's attack, he decided he'd move the academy far away from its current position, requesting the aid from Hexagon to do it. Unfortunately the construction of the New Academy wasn't finished when the Abyss of Evil spawns a revitilized Lothor from its Depths, immediately seeking revenge upon the Ninja Sotrm Rangers, Lothor takes by assault the Wind Ninja Academy, defeating with ease the powerless masters Shane, Dustin and Tori. But the fight between Lothor and the masters, gave Cam and Sensei Watanabe the time they needed to send most of their students via scape routes, only those who could denfend themselves -and wanted to- stayed. Needles to say, they were not able to defeat the dark ninja master who decided that this time we would not take any chances and offered the defeated ninja students to either join him or be dead.

As part of their former teamming up, with the Thunder Rangers, and knowing Hunter was now the head of the Thunder Ninja Academy, Cam created a system that would send a distress signalto the Thunder Ninja Academy automatically if the Wind Ninja Academy ever got threatened, and same would happen in the opposite direction. Hunter recieved the distress signal and sending the most teachers and students to the still unfinished New Academy, he left for the Wind Ninja Academy to help. He arrived on time to prevent Lothor from killing the defeated former Wind Rangers but he couldn't prevent his minions to kidnap them. Hunter and the teachers and students who followed him countered Lothor's forces, but ended up getting outmatched when a handfull of Wind Ninja Academy students turned on them and joined Lothor, proving them being as ruthless as him by killing the teachers from both Wind and Thunder Ninja Academies. Lothor himself fought Hunter, showing him how the Abyss of Evil did little to weaken him, instead made him stronger. Leaving a beaten up and wounded Hunter on the ground, Lothor decided this would be enough for Hunter to understand there was nothing he could do to stop him this time, and taking his brother and nephew with him, he left a Hunter and the few still alive students with a warning not to ever confront him again or they wouldn't be so lucky.

After the grievous battle, Hunter took the students and any teacher who was still alive with him to the unfinished New Academy. Knowing Lothor was not aware of this new facility and it should keep them safe for some time at least. Once he recovered from most his injuries, Hunter decided it was time to use what Hexagon gave him. He reunited the teachers from both academies, and announced that during this rough time, and in order to protect their students and more likely the world from Lothor, both academies would unite under the same -a new- banner, he used the still under construction New Academy  as their headquarters, where they would live until Lothor was no longer a threat. And to achieve this he gathered the best students of each branch of the Wind Academy plus the three best of Thunder Academy, the same three he was training personally. He called Ninjor from help and together started training the six ninjas under the Ninjetti ways and teach them to channel their inner spirits as their source of power. When they were ready, Hunter took the morphers Billy created at Hexagon and gave them to the six. The six students morphed for the first time:

Franklin Payne - Hercules Beetle Spirit
Brandon Hayes - Lion Spirit
Mark Barret - Bat Spirit
Victor Reeve - Crocodile Spirit
Dinah Silva - Deer Spirit
Katelyn Mori - Owl Spirit

Hunter and Ninjor reunited to choose who should be the leader, finding Kate, Frank and Brandon were the most suitables for the position. Following Ninjor's guidance, Hunter told them one of them would be the leader of the team butit would be Ninjor who would decide who it was. In the end, the ancient Ninja master chose Brandon over the rest as the leader, a decision not shared by Hunter, but he respected Ninjor's decision nevertheless. Though this triggered an angry response on Frank who left the team to fight Lothor on his own, growing spitful against the Red Ranger who had taken over his position. Frank having been trained by Hunter to be the next leader, excelled even as solo Ranger. But it was until Lothor released his own team of Evil Rangers that he realized he couldn't go alone anymore and decided to return with his teammates to defeat the powerful enemies.
