Ikiryōrei Kuraikira (いきりょうれクライキラ Kuraikira Ikiryōrei), real name Ikiryōrei Shimura (志村いきりょうれい Shimura iki ryō rei) also known by her hero name Shadow Puppet (シャドーパペット Shadōpapetto) or as she’s known as Ikiryō (生霊 Ikiryō) by her close friends and League Of Villains, is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero.

Appearance

Ikiryōrei is a short girl with a skinny yet curvy frame. Her facial features and hair length resembles that of her father's when he was younger. She has pale skin, scruffy black hair with light blue streaks hanging in a scruffy pixie cut like style and has a section of bangs that covers her right eye, she has crimson red irises with black scleras, similar to Mina's eyes. Her eyes appear to be bigger and more sultry than her classmates, with dried patches of skin around them and eye bags under them from her time spent in the shadows. She has a scar on her exposed eye and one in her lips in the same place her father has one. She wears charcoal lipstick to hide her chapped lips, has a mole under her lips to the right. She has noticeable fatter cheeks from her other classmates, which causes her to have dimples. She also has a small snowflake obsidian on her forehead, which is the source of her Quirk. Her hands and feet are black with black veins sprouting upwards. Her ankles are almost always seen to be chained together by conjoined shackles, that help her stay close to the ground, rather than her high in the air.

After being kidnapped by the League Of Villains, her right bicep on her arm gained a scar on it, that resembles an 'X', due to Katsuki Bakugo saving her from an attack but accidentally using his Quirk on her. It's mostly noticeable when she wears and sleeveless or short sleeved top.

After Twice's death, she obtained his wristbands from Dabi.

During school hours, she wears the standard female uniform which consists of a gray blazer with blue-green stripes, a formal white shirt, red tie, blue-green pleated skirt, black knee socks, however, she does not wear any shoes due the nature of her Quirk. Since she's unable to stand on the ground, she sees wearing shoes as pointless.

Her hero costume is high collared, sleeveless, backless hooded black leotard with a diamond shaped cut in the middle showing her cleavage, it is rather short at the bottom to where it rests above her hip bone in the front and doesn't cover her butt in the back. The collar on her leotard resembles that of Shoto's second hero costume, but instead of the gray neckpiece, she has a ghost clip. A black harness going from her shoulders to under her breasts and a second one going from her waist to her thighs, a thin green belt with three animal skulls on it and black arm warmers that go up to the middle of her biceps with thumb holes and snowflake obsidians in the middle below her knuckles. She wears a set on shackles on her wrists connected with smaller chains. Over all of this, she wears a black jacket with two metal cuffs along the sleeves, resembling that of Dabi's jacket, however, since she is so small, the sleeves reach down lower and almost cover her whole hands.

After the Gang Orca Trial, she obtained the Shiketsu uniform hat, as a present from obtaining Camie's friendship. Ikiryōrei has made this hat a part of her hero costume since then.

Her winter costume is similar to her hero costume except her leotard has sleeves with thumb holes instead of wearing her arm warmers. Her jacket gets lined with fur and has fur on the ends.

Something notable about her outfits is that outside of her hero costume, she always wears knee high socks with various designs and colors. Outside of her school uniform and hero costume, she always wears a set of suspenders of various designs and colors. However, she always wears clothes on the black and white color spectrum.

Ikiryōrei is always has a bottle charm that she uses to suck Wisp into when she's doing her studies.

Personality

Ikiryōrei is a rather shy girl and doesn’t interact with people at first as she is afraid that people will make fun of her or treat her like how Shinigami treats her, mostly from males. Despite her shyness, she became a bit more courageous after the USJ incident. She displays this courage when she possessed Shigaraki at the USJ, and when she tackled Dabi, out of anger, after being free of her restraints during hers and Bakugo’s kidnapping. She likes hanging out with her friends, since she hardly had any friends as a child. She is a big gamer as she is very skilled at video games and even seeing the Battle Trail like a video game. She prefers to stay in the shadows and talk with the creatures within the darkness but after she started becoming more acquainted with her classmates, she started becoming more social.

Shinigami shows her less attention and affection than Ikiryōrei’s younger half brother, due to him inheriting his father’s Quirk. As a child, Shinigami never approved of anything she did and punished her when she talked about or interacted with heroes. However, he tried to make her become the next ruler of Hell, and is disappointed when she uses her Quirk, only because it’s not his. She was punished severely as a child, she was either physically abused or locked in a closet for a few minutes while being told her greatest fear is in there with her. He always told her that due to her Quirk, she couldn’t be a hero, and that it was some stupid fantasy of hers.
Before her Quirks manifested, she was babysat by Kurogiri and Shigaraki, mostly Kurogiri. However, Shigaraki sometimes did step in and babysat Ikiryōrei when Kurogiri had to be away, slowly getting himself attached to the little girl. He even gave her a teddy bear that she still has as of today.

She is described as odd and introverted but caring. She is seen to change others feelings as she was able to befriend Katsuki when she helped them escape the League Of Villains, he started to see her as courageous instead of a ‘scared dead girl’.
She normally floats in front of her friends with hollow eyes, mostly Katsuki and Izuku, lightly scaring them. After people found out that her real father was Tomura, some started to see her differently, while others saw her the same. She suffers from panic attacks as she looks confident is a scary situation, such as when she was talking to Hitoshi in Roaring Sports Festival or when she was talking to All For One in Create Those Ultimate Moves, but as soon as that person was gone, she collapses to the floor and hyperventilates.

After learning that Tomura was her real father, Ikiryōrei didn’t seem very fazed by it, she was shocked but she accepted the fact, and treated him like an actual father. She hugged him saying that she’s glad that he was her real father and started to treat him better, outside of hero duties. Like him, Ikiryōrei has a habit of scratching her skin, however, she scratches her upper face and she only does it when she’s stressed or thinking, but has been seen to scratch her neck from time to time.

She started to become colder to others after Twice’s death so she didn’t cause anyone else to die as she blamed herself for his and Magne’s death. Becoming more aggressive in training to the point of scaring Keigo, even burning some of his feathers. This attitude changed after the Hawks and Endeavor agency, along with the League Of Villains convinced her that the deaths weren’t her fault and after Dabi gave her Twice’s wristbands to have a piece of him to remind her.

Abilities

Overall abilities: Ikiryōrei might be shy and introverted but will spring into action without hesitation. Without her shackles on, she is completely weightless and free to fly around, until she puts her shackles back on. Ikiryōrei used to get very nervous while in battle but got braver the more she battled.
Keen Intellect: Much like Izuku, Ikiryōrei is very observant of other heroes along with villains and writes down their data. She writes down what their Quirk is, how powerful it is while in use, and their weaknesses. Her intelligence can be hidden away while she is stressed, which is why she got a bad grade on her midterms, due to stress from Shinigami. She also is pretty strategic, as she didn’t touch Neito when they battled, since she wasn’t 100% sure how well his Quirk worked, and outsmarted him when he Copied Perish.
Musical Talent: Ikiryōrei is shown to be able to play the electric guitar, saying that Shinigami thought it would be a good instrument choice for the “future ruler of Hell”. She is shown to sing pretty good but only in private as she gets stage fright pretty easily, however, she sang at the School Festival but was seen hyperventilating on the floor afterwards.

Perish (滅びる Horobiru): Ikiryōrei, like Tomura, can perish anything she touches with all five of her fingers, turning it to dust. But when she touches a human, the results vary. If it’s for a short time, they get a random pain in their body, but when she touches them for a long time, she can kill them. However, it has not effect on herself.

Super moves

- Telekinetic Overload (テレキネティックオーバーロード Terekinetikkuōbārōdo) Ikiryōrei can use massive amounts of telekinesis while using this, enough to control a building full of people. She first used it while being held hostage at the League Of Villains, as she used it on the villains.
- Perishing Soundwave (滅びる音波 Horobiru onpa) This is when Ikiryōrei uses both her hands to perish something and it creates a sound wave like noise. She first used this after All Might suggested she use both hands instead of just one.
- Osmium Roundhouse (オスミウム・ラウンドハウス Osumiumu raundohausu) This is the only Super Move Ikiryōrei uses that doesn't involve her Quirk. She roundhouse kicks someone in the face while wearing her osmium shackles after she disconnects one of them, putting the extra one on one of her ankles. She first uses this on All Might in the gut during the final exams, which she apologized for, profusely.
- Nightmare Time (ナイトメアタイム Naitomeataimu) Ikiryōrei can sense what her opponents fear the most and channel that into an illusion of their worst nightmare. She used this on Minoru to visualize the girls in 1-A and in 1-B as unattractive guys, to make him leave them alone.
- Perishing Soundwave 2.0 (滅びる音波 2.0 Horobiru onpa 2. 0) This is used by Ikiryōrei using Perish through her feet to Perish something that her hands can't reach or to propel herself into the air.
- Quadruple Decay Soundwave (四重ダイサウンド波 Shijū daisaundo-ha) Ikiryōrei uses both her hands and feet to propel herself in the air and to perish something.
- Let's Play Guess Who (誰を推測して遊ぼう Dare o suisoku shite asobou) Ikiryōrei disguises her appearance and voice with that of someone else while their opponent tries to figure out which is the real one.

Equipment

Hero Costume: Her leotard is weightless so it don't weight her down. Her leotard is made to where it turns invisible when she turns invisible and where it's unable to perish. Her jacket is also weightless but her metal cuffs have weight to them.
Animal skulls: While creepy and unusual, the animal skulls on Ikiryōrei's second belt have weights implanted in them to help keep her on the ground.
Harnesses: Like her animal skulls, Ikiryōrei's harnesses have some weight to them to help keep her on the ground but not enough to weight her down.
Arm warmers: The snowflake obsidians in her arm warmers are small bits from the one on her forehead, making her able to use abilities related to it come from her hands as well.
Osmium shackles: The shackles that Ikiryōrei always wears help keep her close to the ground, as she's had trouble with staying in the ground since she got her Quirk. She's able to disconnect them but only when she uses Osmium Roundhouse.
Giant Magnet: Magne carried a giant magnet wrapped in a cloth, which is now passed down to Ikiryōrei. She's used it like a baseball bat in the sense that she hits people and objects with it.
Measuring Tape: Twice kept measuring tape in both of his wristbands, which are now passed down to Ikiryōrei. She tends to use them like Shota's scarf or like a whip

Keen Intellect: Much like Izuku, Ikiryōrei is very observant of other heroes along with villains and writes down their data. She writes down what their Quirk is, how powerful it is while in use, and their weaknesses. Her intelligence can be hidden away while she is stressed, which is why she got a bad grade on her midterms, due to stress from Shinigami. She also is pretty strategic, as she didn’t touch Neito when they battled, since she wasn’t 100% sure how well his Quirk worked, and outsmarted him when he Copied Perish.
Musical Talent: Ikiryōrei is shown to be able to play the electric guitar, saying that Shinigami thought it would be a good instrument choice for the “future ruler of Hell”. She is shown to sing pretty good but only in private as she gets stage fright pretty easily, however, she sang at the School Festival but was seen hyperventilating on the floor afterwards.

Boogeyman (ブギーマン Bugīman): Ikiryōrei’s first Quirk gives her multiple shadow/ghost related abilities as long as “the shadows” desire her to do so, she can copy others Quirks by either fully changing into them or changing a part of her body to theirs, the one’s she’s seen using are:

Perish (滅びる Horobiru): Ikiryōrei, like Tomura, can perish anything she touches with all five of her fingers, turning it to dust. But when she touches a human, the results vary. If it’s for a short time, they get a random pain in their body, but when she touches them for a long time, she can kill them. However, it has not effect on herself.

Super moves

- Telekinetic Overload (テレキネティックオーバーロード Terekinetikkuōbārōdo) Ikiryōrei can use massive amounts of telekinesis while using this, enough to control a building full of people. She first used it while being held hostage at the League Of Villains, as she used it on the villains.
- Perishing Soundwave (滅びる音波 Horobiru onpa) This is when Ikiryōrei uses both her hands to perish something and it creates a sound wave like noise. She first used this after All Might suggested she use both hands instead of just one.
- Osmium Roundhouse (オスミウム・ラウンドハウス Osumiumu raundohausu) This is the only Super Move Ikiryōrei uses that doesn't involve her Quirk. She roundhouse kicks someone in the face while wearing her osmium shackles after she disconnects one of them, putting the extra one on one of her ankles. She first uses this on All Might in the gut during the final exams, which she apologized for, profusely.
- Nightmare Time (ナイトメアタイム Naitomeataimu) Ikiryōrei can sense what her opponents fear the most and channel that into an illusion of their worst nightmare. She used this on Minoru to visualize the girls in 1-A and in 1-B as unattractive guys, to make him leave them alone.
- Perishing Soundwave 2.0 (滅びる音波 2.0 Horobiru onpa 2. 0) This is used by Ikiryōrei using Perish through her feet to Perish something that her hands can't reach or to propel herself into the air.
- Quadruple Decay Soundwave (四重ダイサウンド波 Shijū daisaundo-ha) Ikiryōrei uses both her hands and feet to propel herself in the air and to perish something.
- Let's Play Guess Who (誰を推測して遊ぼう Dare o suisoku shite asobou) Ikiryōrei disguises her appearance and voice with that of someone else while their opponent tries to figure out which is the real one.

Equipment

Hero Costume: Her leotard is weightless so it don't weight her down. Her leotard is made to where it turns invisible when she turns invisible and where it's unable to perish. Her jacket is also weightless but her metal cuffs have weight to them.
Animal skulls: While creepy and unusual, the animal skulls on Ikiryōrei's second belt have weights implanted in them to help keep her on the ground.
Harnesses: Like her animal skulls, Ikiryōrei's harnesses have some weight to them to help keep her on the ground but not enough to weight her down.
Arm warmers: The snowflake obsidians in her arm warmers are small bits from the one on her forehead, making her able to use abilities related to it come from her hands as well.
Osmium shackles: The shackles that Ikiryōrei always wears help keep her close to the ground, as she's had trouble with staying in the ground since she got her Quirk. She's able to disconnect them but only when she uses Osmium Roundhouse.
Giant Magnet: Magne carried a giant magnet wrapped in a cloth, which is now passed down to Ikiryōrei. She's used it like a baseball bat in the sense that she hits people and objects with it.
Measuring Tape: Twice kept measuring tape in both of his wristbands, which are now passed down to Ikiryōrei. She tends to use them like Shota's scarf or like a whip

- Like Shoto, Ikiryōrei has two Quirks
- Ikiryōrei’s surname means “dark” (暗い, kurai) “glittering” (キラキラ, kirakira) Her first name means “living ghost” or “living spirit” (生霊, ikiryō) and “spirit, soul” (霊, rei)
- Until she knew Tomura Shigaraki was her real father, Ikiryōrei, thought that her Perish Quirk, as a part of her Quirk
* Ikiryōrei’s shares similarities with Raven from Teen Titans
* Their hero costumes are very similar
* Both have black hair (Raven in most medias)
* Both hate their demon fathers
* In Ikiryōrei’s case, it’s her demon stepfather
