So, this is part of a commission for , a series of mid-TF illustrations.
#5 out of 10 (yes, there's more in the way ^^) is Sakuya, from Okami!

While visiting Japan, of course wanted to try some traditional flower viewing. He heard of this one spot up in the mountain, where some of the most beautiful cherry blossom trees bloom. It took a bit of a trek, but he found them, and boy, the view alone was breathtaking. What he wasn't aware of, however, was that this area was sacred ground, and a divine gust of wind blew around him, petals dancing in the air as his body began changing; a joyous realization dawning upon him as he became bonded to the cherry blossoms as a Wood Sprite.

The first in a new set of mid-TF illustrations, this one was really fun to try. He asked me to try and emulate the artstyle from the game (kinda like sumi-e) and just for an extra touch, that the transformed parts were drawn in this artstyle, while the non-transformed parts in my regular one. And the result is this! Gotta say, it ended up looking much better than I imagined.

Really fun to try, loved to do it, and I hoped you'll like it as well!
