Watch the clothing folds. Sam should have some creases and folds on his jacket, which I'm guessing is along the lines of a motorcycle jacket. It wouldn't be as flowy as Rei's shirt, but there should be something, especially around the elbows. Joints are always a good starting point for folds.
I recommend looking at reference and finding some tutorials on clothing.
You should really colour this in photoshop! It will make it really crisp~
