Crap. The creator of the Devilman Lady picture was none other than Go Nagai himself. Trying to get his permission just to re-post the Devil Lady image= practically impossible(unless you were friends with him somehow). Technically, if you put a frame on an image and make a joke about it(just having fun with it), it is yours for the taking. Yes, I have read the manga all the way through. At that piont, Detective Hayami knows that Jun Fudou has a dark secret, but in that chapter Jun asked him to not turn around. So he didn't see Jun as Lady until later. [link]

Thanks for the link again, Kaizer. I laughed out loud when I was reading the text in the Devilman Lady manga(the part where Detective Hyame is running around town with Jun Fudo's clothes, looking for her). The manga has some humor, compared to the anime variant, I'll admit.

You don't have to tell me about the ending in the anime version of Devil Lady(I watched all 26 episodes; oddly, the Christmas episode is my favorite episode). I have the complete collection box set of Devil Lady(the artwork in the anime is amazing, by the way). I love the story, but there is one character I definitely don't like. I can understand she initially loves and adores Jun Fudo. But to rape her and steal her powers for his/her purposes(sounds like something off of Devil May Cry), it's enough evidence to make me hate her. Guess which character I'm referring to, Kaizer?

The story is great!! They even show her teaming up with the 1st Devilman!! At 1 point, they make love, while Devilman is flying & carrying her!! But saddly, The ending was awful!!

I understand the story in the manga being terrific and all that. But my question was the ending in the manga worse than that of the anime variant of Devil Lady, Kaizer? O_o
Sorry for the confusion and the late reply. And I see where you came up with the joke(after reading the manga, of course, and lol at the parts where Detective Hayami sees Jun Fudou naked and getting slapped in the process).

If the ending is much worse, try to explain it to me by sending me a note(I think there's a limit when you try it on the comments). Funny you mention that, I went ahead and actually read the next chapter/volume(curse my curiosity) of the manga. The moment I saw Mr. Hayami going into Jun Fudou's condominium and Jun Fudou being flat-out naked on the bed, I busted my gut laughing.
And after he said this, "I know all of Jun's secrets," to Jun, Jun transforms into Devil Lady and gives Detective Hayami the death glare/rape face(I don't know if you read the next chapter/volume of the manga, I think I spoiled something), Kaizer.

Well, seeing one volume of the manga is way too graphic, even for me, it's best to explain the details. In the anime, I know Jun Fudou survives the final confrontation against Lan Asuka, but in the process, she loses her arms. Does Jun Fudou/Devil Lady lose in the manga as opposed to the anime, Kaizer?

Yeah. You just summed it up for me there, Kaizer. One thing I still don't like is Lan Asuka's character. I admit she is a lot nicer in the manga than the anime. But the fact that she becomes a(gulps), hermaphrodite, later in both the manga and the anime is pretty disturbing. And he/she(Lan Asuka) rapes Jun Fudou/Devil Lady on the spot doesn't help. Yeah, it is definitely f***ed up, Kaizer.

Oh, and by the way, does Jun Fudou tell Detective Hayami her dark secret later on(I've read the manga and it shows her fighting the teen demoness; Detective Hayami catches her in full Devil form), Kaizer? In the anime(I think it's episode 19), Jun Fudou tells and shows her modeling agent, Tatsuya Yuasa, her dark secret(being a 3/4 naked female Devil, trying to save the world) before trying to save her agent's daughter from getting killed by a centipede-like demon.
