After all my happy Layton deviations, I think it's time for a more serious one. I had a Claire theme in mind for some time now.The Professor takes a moment to remember his true love. The white flower reminded me of the falling snow at the end of The Unwound Future, which signified her death and Layton's love for her. His hat is tipped over his eyes. You can't see it, but Layton's actually on his knees.
I took this at a hotel breakfast with random stuff that I had around.

I love this!! LaytonxClaire is my favorite, and I just can't imagine him being paired with anyone else! It seems like everyone pairs him with Remy/Emmy and I just can't see it! I started balling my eyes out at that scene in The Unwound Future, they were (and still are, of course) soo cutee together!!

Whew, I had this odd nagging feeling while I was typing the artist comments that I was trying to pull some random connection out of the clouds between the flower and Claire and snow.

I can't even watch the ending again. Even clips on youtube of it. This is probably one of the only games that has ever made me this upset. PL3 is what hooked me into the series. PL1 and PL2 didn't even make a dent compared to what PL3 did to me =]
