...for breakfast!!!!!!!!!poor Poliwag?!?!??! what about grass types?!?! aren't they the ones that have like eleventy-three million weaknesses?!?
My classmate brought his DS last Friday since classes just started and its kinda expected that some of our professors will be absent...
He was playing Platinum and He's just on the 1st Gym, He's not really into pokemon but he likes to play... He caught a level 5 Budew, and I was like... USE EEEEEEEET!!!
He was like, level 5?!?! it will just die!! nooo!!
then I grabbed the DS and owned the 1st trainer in the gym... and he was liek... O3O
He was all "but grass types suck!!! they are soooooooo weak!!!"
then I was liek, you don't know what they're capable of!!! JUST RAEP THAT GYM!!!!!!!!
Then he happily finished the gym with Budew absorbing every last Rock/ground pokemon....
In the anime, Bulbasaur owned a scyther with vine whip, a bug/flying type.... its supposed to resist it but whatever...
GRASS TYPES ARE NOT FULL OF SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
at least not in my mind....

The only reason I don't like Grass types that much is that they have some of the most detail-overload designs xDDD
But otherwise, their poison powers are epic >DD

Yeah, that's true, and psychic pokemon I think are more common than poison and bug
I like Tropius because he's flying/grass. It gets rid of his weakness to bug and flying type.
That and he's amazingly cool.
The worst, though, is Snover. An ice/grass type? WTH?

I liked Tropius too!! when I first saw one, I was like, grass type!!! yay!! then.. oh.. its flying.... 4x weak to ice.. T.T
I was also excited when I saw a snover then I "cried" again because of its 4x weakness to fire....lol

Yeah . . . but flying types are more common than ice types.
(I always find myself thinking in terms of not how many types something is weak to, but how common that type of pokemon is . . .)
But Snover is weak against EVERYTHING! Fire, fighting, steel, rock, poison, bug, flying

$ but Water types can easily eat Grass types with an Ice Beam! That is what I like from Water types, they are a lot more versatile in type-coverage instead of the usual Grass/Poison attacks.
I usually don't like Grass types but there are some that I really love (Chikorita, Budew, Bellsprout, Treecko and all of its respective evolutions)

what I like from grass types is the fact that no one likes them

Lets see if said Cradily can take STAB Fighting attacks from Poliwrath or a ChoiceBanded Azumarill's Ice Punch or Focus Punch. Also, Cradily can't do a lot to Water-types, afterall it almost always sports Rock and Ground attacks types...
Hehehe, I do like them (At least some of them). For example Roserade could easily pwn a lot of Water-types even with Ice Beam as it speed would be better.

Yeah, Grass types are beast, and they do not suck. If you know what moves to teach them, they can beat anything. Water types (especially Piplup) are worse. D: I got beaten by the first gym leader on Pearl with it.
