The contrast of blue against orange here is awesome! And that hair... that hair is indeed epic. I love how you squeezed so many colours into this.

That's really beautiful... reminds me a lot of a character that I have who loves the sea and just to be way down deep inside it.

This would make such a beautiful wall scroll or the best card ever to send to someone with some kind of otherworldly handwriting on it. Wow...I really do wish you made wall scrolls. I like the shading a lot on this, very thick and painterly but not at all messy. The light is beautiful and I think I am in love with this colourscheme (or, I guess I have been for years) I just love the way you used it here. The sky gives me an exceptional feeling inside. Well done.

I love the way you handle color and light. kinda random, but it reminds me of these old National Geographic magazines I used to collect. The nature photos had a different color sensibility depending on the era, and this reminds me of the ones from the 80s.

julianwilbury In reply to DimeSpin [2008-07-18 20:48:53 +0000 UTC]

Woah, you're totally right. It does like the older NatGeo magazines from the 80's.

The texture helps the illusion, too. They always had this sort of texture...

Oh, it is beautiful! I love the colours and the light. Hmm... he reminds me of a red Falkor (if you have watched The Neverending Story). He is one of my favorite dragons
Great work as always!

Heh, takker!

Of course I've watched The Neverending Story, childhood fav of mine, regardless of the crappy 80's movie effects. The book is better, though
