That has crossed my mind as well. XD although I try to avoid Kenichi threads as only thing I see is whining about fanservice and now whining about not seeing Agaard's fight, but instead flashbacks. Forum's aren't my thing. XD
Agaard is a wild beast, who is drawn to a beast tamer Apachai.That what he himself said and what was one of the most epic quotes pretty much nailing everything about those two together. By the way, the author did not forget about Apachai's cat from the previous manga. XD
That disciple thing is something that really confuses me. These two are just too different. Just where id he pick that punk up!? It doesn't feel that Agaard would have taught him to be like this.
