Description Edit: squished moole a lil because when i originally resized them they ended up kinda flat

did i ever mention that continuous line drawings are one of my favorite things to do?? the trick is to vary your line weight because if you dont its gonna be completely indiscernible (and i'll give you a little hint, single line drawings are supposed to look like they're only one line not actually be a single line because thats how you trash a picture)

I would've had this finished last night but i hated the background so i redid it

Keeping true to their promise to not send Moole out internationally, the stallion was shipped up to Maryland for a Thoroughbred show. In an effort to reduce stress, they chose to send him via a professional hauler rather than by air. The horse emerged slightly less ruffled than he had been from previous trips and settled down in his designated pasture almost immediately. Not having to wait in quarantine had saved his nerves and by the time Jakobi took the stallion out on the third day he was almost back to his normal self.

It was an unspoken rule that Moole was fast and his "zoomy tendencies" as they were not so affectionately called  were always at their peak when he knew there was a show. As soon as his mane was braided it was like he forgot how to walk and would usually end up pulling his handler around the grounds until they stepped into the ring. This hotbloodedness had always been attributed to his mother being the traditional Irish Sport Horse cross of an Irish Draught and a Thoroughbred, so of course when the Totally Thoroughbred Show had reopened of course Mr. Zoom had to be entered.

Per usual Moole entered the arena at a gallop, Jakobi wrestling him down to a fast canter as they flew through the starting poles. Since his crash-landing days when he would be too focused on the next jump, Moole had grown far lazier in his jumping approach to the point where he would do the jumping but you had to do everything else. His show record would've been a mile long had he been focused enough to pace himself in free jumping but unfortunately when it came to anything other than a bounce the stallion was clueless.

Managing to slow the stallion to a normal extended canter, Jakobi surveyed the jumps from above. For the tall sport horse they were nothing to get worked up over, the tallest not even reaching Mooles chest, but the distances were varied and when it came to adjusting the horses stride more often that not you ended up taking the long spot thanks to his wonderful deer legs. Turning sharply towards the first jump Jakobi pointed the stallion at a purple vertical and felt Moole speed up. Typical to his haste, the horse faltered momentarily before taking off early and knocking a rail with his rider wincing harshly as it fell, the man making a mental note to find a bit with more stopping power as they thundered through the rest of the course.

it said acting up and refusals wouldn't count against your score so i'm assuming knocked rails wouldn't either since they're usually the same penalty and its rly unrealistic that moole has never fucked up
