Description -EDIT- put up actionscript and hopefully the fonts have been fixed. >.>;

Homework 3 and 4 of my flash animation class. first being 'make a how-to' video', then incorporating sounds into it. Both turning into a really 'bleh' thing for me, especially since a horrendous timing of losing my flash program and getting a new one forced me to abandon any ambitious action scenes.

Music from flashkit.com (Pianoland by Osnoff)
sound effects from findsounds.com

Please do tell me how you made that play button, finding good Flash CS4 tutorials is not the easiest task

Even in CS4 (which I am also using atm) this is the tutorial I used when I made my play button.

I laughed thru the whole thing. You should do a part 2 : How to plan the Ultimate Revenge (and fail).

It's fantastic, Kalkie! Who did the voices of the people? They're hilarious!

You made a very lovely background environment for this animation, especially the smoke behind the monster. *-* Very good "bug's eye view" you did there as well (when the character steps forward to attack).

My favorite part is when our hero leaps after the beast. You did an excellent job in making the background fade to white, giving the two contenders more focus (just like in the movies!)

Just amazing! Very life-like and professional (as well as silly xD)!

Trying to find a way to stop the animation? :3 Here's my "How to" on making an animation stop at the end!

Step 1: In the last scene of your animation, create a layer. Name it "actions" and place it on the top of all your other layers.

Step 2: On the "actions" layer, create a key frame on the frame number in which your animation ends.

Step 3: With the key frame selected, go to Windows > Actions to open up the actions window.

Step 4: Now type in the following:
stop();

If done correctly, you should see a small "a" in the frame you put the actionscript in. Also, your animation should stop at the end when played.

<:3 I apologize if I confused you at all. If this didn't help, you can certainly find a bunch of tutorials in search engines and DeviantArt!

Overall, phenomenal job on this animation! I'll never get tired of watching it! xD

Apart from the monster roar (sfx), the two other voices were done by my sister and all I did was tweak the pitch of her voices with Audacity 83

Thanks for the actionscript tip!
