I flopped gracefully lowered myself onto the towel, wriggling into a comfy position and prepping for the famous Queensland sun. I was in the sunshine state on a beach, and since it was an iconic thing to do I was sunbathing.
The warmth of the golden sand seeped through the towel, and I felt gloriously warm. This place could do wonders for me.
I slid my sunnies onto my face; the big black ones. The beach was deserted for the most part, even though it was a lovely day, and I wondered why only a few surfers were out and about.

One of them caught my eye. He looked extremely uncomfortable on the board and he seemed terrified of the water. The man looked about 21, with shaggy blonde hair and thick brows. I could see them even from my towel.
He tried to crest a wave, but got dumped and washed up on shore. The guy started dragging his board up the sand and I couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy. I wondered if I should go over.

Just then, a loud yell cut through the warm air.
"Yo Iggy! Nice moves out there, dude!" Another man, about the same age or a little younger, appeared over the edge of a foamy white wave.
He had bright bluish eyes, and blond hair complete with unruly cowlick. I could tell from then that the two men had very different personalities. And the blue eyed one was a lot better at surfing.
He carried an American accent, but it wasn't bland or boring. I figured the other would speak the same and- oh, never mind that.
I had just caught sight of his bare chest- did that blondie have muscles!

I got up and sauntered over to where the two of them were enjoying some Aussie beer, laughing and joking. Must've missed him getting out of the water... Oh well.
As I approached, they fell into wide-eyed silence. The American grinned and smirked at his mate, whispering something into his ear.
The green eyed man blushed furiously and scowled at his friend before he looked up at me.
"You'll have to excuse my brother," he said,"poor Alfred doesn't understand how to be a gentleman." He flashed an angry glance at his brother while I marveled at his sexy English accent. The American- how was that possible- laughed and grinned up at me.
"Sorry 'bout him, babe. Iggy doesn't know how to have fun."

I returned the smile.
"Oh, no. You both seem just- well, I'm not sure I can put it into words." I didn't consider myself that good at flirting. Oh well. Alfred chuckled.
"Is that so?" The Brit smacked him on the arm, inducing a whine.
"Shut up, Al. No flirting!" I giggled at his comment.
"Who's flirting?" He flushed scarlet.
"N-never mind. I'm sorry, I don't believe we've properly introduced. My name is Arthur Kirkland, and this is my stepbrother, Alfred Jones."

Alfred opened his mouth angrily.
"That's Alfred F Jones to you, limey!" Arthur started to protest but was interrupted by our loud laughter. I clutched my stomach and tried to cut off the giggles.
"S-sorry! It's just that I-I don't really k-know people who use their m-middle name so it was j-just so funny!"

Both men broke into laughter.
"Well, love, Im glad to see that my opinion isn't alone!" Alfred cut short his chuckles to glare at his brother.
"Dude!" He turned to me. "Go grab ya towel and sit with us, uh..." I blushed a little.
"The name's ______. And sure, I'll be back in a mo."
I hurried over to my stuff, golden sand crunching under my thongs. Big dark sunnies, towel, snacks, water and other stuff all completed my bags contents.
When Id collected it all up in a satchel, I returned to the boys and laid out my towel. Arthur was blushing again...
I giggled,"Arthur, you should really control your imagination." His face deepened into a rich scarlet and his brother punched him on the shoulder.
"Yeah, Artie."
"Don't call me that."
"Artie."
"ALFRED!"
"Yes, Artie?"

I couldn't help myself and started giggling. Sheesh, I really should've learnt to control my laughter. These two probably thought I was a geek... Meh.
Arthur sighed, swatted his brother away, and flopped back onto his towel, leaving me in a nice position to enjoy his chest. Nom nom NOM.
Alfred laughed and glanced at me sideways, sly smile gracing his lips. I narrowed my eyes.
"Like what you see, Alfie?" He blushed slightly but kept the smirk.
"How could I not?"
The next thing I knew, he had me pinned on my towel, face inches from mine. "How about we continue this somewhere else, babe?"

I stared, frozen. One... Two... Three. It had sunk in. I blushed profusely.
"Uh- I-" Luckily, I was saved by Arthur. He hauled Al off of me and started paying him out.
"You sodden git! That is no way to treat a lady!" I started (of course) giggling, drawing their attention to me.
"What is it, love?"
"I-well- hehe, you two are just so adorable when you fight!"

At that, they lurched away like the other was toxic, disgust registering on their faces. OHMYGAWD. Could these two be ANY cuter?!
Unfortunately... I wasn't finding out anytime soon, when footsteps crunched over the sand behind me. Both the American and Brit froze and stared at the person. Uh...
I twisted around to see- someone I would never have thought to be there. The sexy Aussie guy known as Jack Kirkland, also the rep for Australia. Someone so FAMOUS, standing behind ME.

I totally would've squee'd but I had to keep my cool.
"O-oh! Australia?" So much for that. =-="
He smirked and chuckled.
"G'day, sheila. I've seen you around, you were helping a little girl in the park- what the hell are you doing with my idiot brothers?!" He laughed it off, followed by an annoyed noise from Arthur, but my mind was working overtime.
He was a nation- and Alfred was American, Arthur was English- they were brothers, so...
I almost screamed.
"You are- you're brothers? So.. America and England?!"
All three started laughing at my flustered face. I pouted a little, but pushed it away with the fact that I was chatting with three nations. Awesome!
England calmed down first.
"Make sense now, love?" He allowed his cool face to shift into a sly grin. I smiled sweetly.
"Oh yes- now I understand why you can't surf." Now it was our turn to laugh, with the furiously blushing Brit left spluttering protests.
"I-I don't- well, that's just- ugh, I mean, uh- oh, screw it!" I clutched my sides, America was practically rolling on the sand, and Oz was doubled up.

After a few minutes, we had collected ourselves and were talking about ourselves. I was pretty curious about the life of a nation representative, and for some reason they were interested in me.
I told them my life story, skipping over a few hard parts, and possibly made some of my traits better. It probably wasn't good to make up anything, but I couldn't help but show off if they took such an interest.

Australia, especially, seemed to have a need to know more about me, even when Id said everything. He laughed during my stories and is face grew somber at my sad experiences. Did this high and mighty nation have feelings for me, or did he simply want to be my friend? I shook my head over the complexity of it all.
I mean, how was one even supposed to go about dating a nation? Out of the question. I smiled to myself though; it was a nice thought to entertain. And apparently zone out.
"Yo! ______! Dudette?" I blinked and turned back to face the three hot guys, blushing slightly.
"Yeah, sorry. Just spacing out." He chuckled and turned to his Aussie brother.
"She was probably remembering when I was topping her on the sand just before." My eyes flew wide open.
"As if!" A little rhyme popped into my head. "You wish, jelly fish." Jack and Arthur stared for about three seconds before bursting into laughter.
"He does. When he was little he would wet the bed and somehow the girls his age found out and-"
"More like you told them!" They resumed bickering, and I flopped back on the sand. Maybe now I could catch a bit of sun. The Australian summer had treated me well, and I was rather slim. Tanned, too.
I didn't support the whole Barbie Girl image but it was nice to look like every other Aussie chick on the sand. I sighed and adjusted my sunnies.
Suddenly, the golden sand beside me crunched as somebody dropped onto a towel. Jack. He smirked at me.
"What's up, sheila? Like what you see?" I returned the expression.
"How could I not?" He chuckled lightly and leaned over, hovering over me like America had done just ten min ago.
"If I distracted you, maybe... like this." And with that, he bent down and placed a hot kiss on my lips.

I responded after a moments hesitation, closing my eyes and reaching up with an arm to pull him down more, deepening the kiss and groaning into it a little.
After a few seconds, I felt a tongue swipe across my lips and parted them a little. Australia wasted no time in slipping his tongue in and starting to wrestle with my own. Too bad I forgot the guy fought crocs all day long...
He easily won and started exploring my mouth, the foreign sensation sending shivers up my spine.

About a minute later, we broke apart for air and stared into each other's eyes, wonder dancing across his. I blushed a little and glanced away, to see my glasses on the ground. He must've pulled them off.
I turned to see Alfred and Arthur still battling it out, spraying sand everywhere. Jack jumped up and gave me a hand, dusting me off.
"Sheila, you aren't that bad a kisser." I blushed profusely but kept my beach girl attitude.
"I had to make it special for you, oh might nation." He chuckled.
"Ever had a boyfriend?"
"One. He was a total douche."
"He didn't deserve you anyway. Now..." And with that he lifted my chin for another sweet kiss," now you belong to me."

I smiled.
"Of course. Hey Iggy!" He perked his head up.
"Yes, love?" I smirked.
"Im your sister in law, as of now!" Never had I wished for a camera more than at that moment. The Brit's jaw dropped, eyes popped out and he sat like that for a good thirty seconds.
"What?" Then Alfred seemed to realise we were talking. He grinned.
"So you do like me?" We all burst out laughing to the point of tears and left poor Al there with the most confused face of all time.

"Sooooo... Who?" I rolled my eyes.
"Australia, idiot." I leaned into my hot boyfriend, then flew back. Where had his shirt gone?! My wide eyes had been met with laughter. Oh. My. God.
His body was perfectly sculpted, and had a perfect tan. The expression in Jacks eyes was daring, sly and dangerous, and I felt a wave of heat smack into my face.
"_____, who knew you were so shy? Little uke girl showing herself, I should think." He chuckled again and patted my hair softly, before leaning back against a bag.
I lay back down, my head resting on his lap and his fingers combing my hair, soothing me. I smiled and looked up at his serene face as he joked around with his brothers.
