Oh! The brush question-honestly, I'm not sure. I've downloaded a bunch of brushes over time, but I'm pretty sure all this one is an oil blend brush with the texture option turned on. Photoshop has a library of built in textures, and this one has kind of a "rice paper" effect up close. Hope that sort of helps.Β

You've got this stylized dark Disney-like aesthetic that's perfect for the subject matter. While unique, the characters are still identifiable as the actors that portray them in the show. It's been a lot of fun watching you refine your skills over time.

Ooo, stylized dark Disney? I like that! I always thought Don Bluth works to be the dark Disney of my childhood. Thank you, they're getting there, it will be interesting to see where this all goes in a year.Β

Your drawing skills have massively improved in a rather short amount of time (not to say they weren't lovely before, they're just THAT much MORE amazing now!)--I absolutely adore your use of shading/lighting in all of your pieces, and your style is so unique and fantastic! Keep 'em coming!

That's so nice to hear, very encouraging! I only hope to improve, and it seems to help me play with different characters by drawing these screen shots. Thank you so much, it really means a lot, and I love the feedback (both positive and constructive!)

I do like the 2nd one as well, I think I captured Pety's essence. I think Aidan G. portrays LF very well, and he's how I would imagine him in the books. Sulking Sandor! Ha! That's him, alright. Yes, I love the Joffrey because he looks like a little evil Tommen. Thank you very much!Β

I know he's so presh, he's like a little kitten. I read they recasted the actor, and was bummed because that kid was so adorable. But I guess he needs to be aged up for the next season?

Miss-Crane In reply to kallielef [2013-12-12 19:44:24 +0000 UTC]
Yeah me too ! Although he had like... 5 lines ? In 3 seasons ? I thought he was so cute and squishable <3
Yes I believe I read somewhere that they wanted an older actor for some events in the next season.
