This amazing picture was completed for me by the fantastic good-gonzo-man !
Kakashi's anxiety over losing Kama worsens every time she returns to the village which often results in sleepless nights for him.

I'm so captivated by some of these poses you and your commissioned artists come up for these pieces, goodness.
There's just something so enchanting about the way Kakashi and Kama are tangled up together in their bedsheets here. Obviously the stark difference of expressions is beautiful in itself, Kama looks so peaceful and calm, completely in her element. Whereas Kakashi looks so torn up, the anxiety displayed there is magnificent.
AND FINALLY I'm really digging the lighting here -- how it comes through the windows is excellent and adds a colder element to the overall piece when you're looking at Kakashi, but paired with Kama's sleeping face it seems complexly warm.
Sorry for super long comment! There's just something about this picture that's made me fall in love all over again with these two and their story.

By now you should know how much I appreciate your super long comments. No need to apologise! Haha. I agree with everything you said and I couldn't have possibly said it better myself. When I imagine Kama and Kakashi as a couple I imagine them tangled together a lot of the time. Whether it's just sleeping in bed or walking with their fingers intertwined. It s just who they are.
Kakashi was such an affection starved child that I imagine if he was to find himself a partner he would find it hard to keep his hands off her and I don't mean in a sexual way. I mean that he would have this constant need to touch her and reassure himself that she is really there and at night his favourite position would be with his head on her chest so he could listen to her heartbeat and ensure she is still alive.

Oh my goodness, I adore that description of Kakashi despite its crushing effect. I love seeing the pair like this, I imagine them sleeping like this a lot as well. Even whilst reading your beautiful story (which I am still needing to finish, LOOK I DONT WANT MORE PAIN. I'll get there) I imagined them like this some nights ahhh. So gorgeous.

Hahaha no pressure. I know it must be painful to read. But yes, they would sleep like this a lot. Especially in the story. Poor babies just don't get enough time together to waste it on opposite sides of the bed.
