I cropped and rotated maybe 10-15degrees + all the adjustment layers I used are listed below:
Gradient Map
Exposure
Brightness/Contrast
Vibrancy
Black & White
Color Balance
Hue/Saturation
Curves
Levels
Oh and thanks to for the tip on the unsharp filter
So thats all I did (the thing I took a pic of still looks like what I took a shot of)

Seems like you did a lot of adjusting... I probably do half of that... which is quite interesting... how people differ in terms of post-processing and stuff.
This reminds me of something, but... damn, I can't recall. 'Tis macro, which gives us a hint, I guess.
I really like the blue tone and the composition of the lighting, as well. The perspective is lovely, although I can't help wanting to rotate the piece more, if you get what I mean...
Brilliant depth of field and concept, anyway. You should do more of these.

Most of the adjustments are really just to get the color and shadows as close to the way I imagine it in my head as I can. But yeah I <3 post processing
I was going for a look I saw in your gallery in the chapters of life series - though it did turn out different enough so that I wasn't straight up plagiarizing you 
yeah the way the thing is angled makes you want to rotate it a certain way - but I think regardless of how its moved it'll look a bit off - its all natural lighting. Figure out what it is ?
