This is a drawing of Sonic & Spyro breaking into the lair of Dr. Eggman & Ripto to Rescue all the captured Flickies & dragon flies in this energy drain machine.Here's a Story about "Sonic & Spyro To The Rescue"
Dr. Eggman's plan is to go to this world to team up with Spyro's Ripto Together they captured all the Flickies & dragon flies to drain all their essence to power up a machine that can make both Eggman & Ripto Become both kings in both of their worlds
But With Sonic's 3 magical items, the magic Cape of defense (that protects both Sonic & Spyro fro harms way) , the magic gloves of health (that recovers their injuries from a tough battle) and finally the magic sword of companionship (that turned Spyro into a house size stead to make him as Sonic's loyal dragon companion but just for a while until their mission is done). Together with Sonic & Spyro they can save both the Flickies, the Dragon flies & their worlds from the Hands of Dr. Eggman & Ripto as they work together as a team.

Super Smash Bros 4. Sonic appeared in Super Smash Bros in 2008 for the Wii. Right now the Wii U just came out and since Sonic and Solid Snake from Metal Gear, both third party games, appeared in a Nintendo based fighting game they are already developing a new storyline with other third party characters. Personally I think Spyro the Dragon should be in it like in his early design. I hear they may consider some Capcom characters in the mix but the developers don't want to over do it. You can look it up though news is sketchy at best.
