Description
This is one of my favorite looking anthropods (atleast the ones i've folded). It has the varilegs, the segmented tail, and the segmented arms (just like a real scorpion). I even added fangs to this one cuz the original didnt have them.Folded from 6" japanese foil from Robert Lang's "Origami Insects II"

This is actually really good work! Next time you fold this, I would use tissue paper and foil instead of kami.

Really cool! Is there a tutorial somewhere on the internet what says how to make this? I want to make one too but i don't have any books or anything (i always use youtube..)

It's standard origami foil paper; one side is tin/aluminum foil and the other regular kami origami paper. It's great for making complex things like this.

Thank you! Where is the best place to get this foil paper? I have used Christmas wrapping paper. Is it the same? Wrapping paper doesn't seem to like being wet-folded!

I'd say try a craft store like Michaels. And while you're there, pick up some tracing paper or water color paper; those are much better alternatives for wet folding haha.

Actually I always use the white side cause the model comes out a lot less creasy and much smoother when its done than if I used the colored side. Its also easier to fold in my opinion. =]

Jeez, that's good. Whenever I try folding it the legs look all separated and the body looks bulky. You've made it look much more elegant.
