Alright this is based on the newest Gundam series, Gundam 00. I fell completely in love with it at episode 1, I just haven't been able to get anything up here. Well last episode (15) was made of epic fail and I've been dying for 16 to come out. Well I was setting in Philosophy class and thinking on how I could fan art. (wonderful job of paying attention I know) and this hits me out of no where.

Setsuna (the boy for those who haven't seen the series) has been fighting from a young age. So when he is first saved by a Gundam it was impactful for the boy. Being only a child at the time, seeing something so angelic looking had to change the boy's way of thinking somehow. Well being saved a second time, and seeing Setsuna-now turned Gundam pilot- 's reaction to this second saving made me think.

"Setsuna the Gundam's are your Guardian Angels. They are your Mechanical saviors. "

So came about this picture. Innocent Setsuna wrapped tightly in the arms of a Gundam. I didn't want to really make it any certain Gundam -even though I used referance of the new one for the shape- so that is one of the reasons the Gundam is black. I also did it though, because even after being on the battle field for so long Setsuna is still an innocent child. The Gundams didn't take his innocence from him but they continued his life as a warrior. Thus not allowing him to be a child.

I just couldn't stop thinking about Setsuna's obsessive - near worship- relationship with the Gundams. And so my Picture. Setsuna and his Savior.
