Couldn't really think of a more creative name for this XD; I was considering "Snow" or something bland, but then I realized how many winter/snow-themed pictures I draw and...yeah. I should try a different season someday.Subject: This is my attempt to keep James/Lily alive amidst the flurry of Snape/Lily fanarts! They're EVERYWHERE O__O And yes, I feel horrible for Snape, but...but...it's not James' fault he doesn't get decent characterization.
I was really hoping for JKR to show us HOW exactly James and Lily got together, since she hated him for being an ass. And since they got married, I assume he stopped being a huge prick...but alas, it just goes from bastard!James to cute-dad!James. And Lily doesn't get much in the way of character development either.
Anyways, *I* still like them! And I'm sure they were a cute couple and totally adorable parents

That is quite adorable, and as Remus and Sirius pointed out, James grew up. Lily wouldn't love or marry a jerk, and Severus made his choice. Anyway, lovely picture, possibly one of the sweetest poses I've seen these two in. Pat yourself on the back ^_^

good point. i wish she would at least tell the story to the fans even if she doesn't publish it...there are a lot of stories about pricks changing for a girl. plus what we have seen were snapes memories, being only negative of james...oh well. I think people forget NO JAMES+LILY=NO HARRY POTTER and that would lead to a lame series. It's kinda of funny cuz all the people who were like "omg poor snape" didn't factor in the facts that snape wasn't hanging out with the best people, already causing a rift between them, but also him calling her a mudblood. Think about hermione when she punched draco in the face. It's hurtful then, but coming from someone you try to protect and think of as a friend, it's ten times more hurtful...I feel bad for snape and his love for lily was touching, but i don't ship them! It's just to draw a connection between harry and snape because their relationship was never understood...end of rant...sorry guys

I find Lily/Snape creepy, to be honest. He stalked her as a child, and seemed to obsess over her. People tell me that Snape belong with Lily, but I point out that James changed for her, stopped being a prick, while Snape never stopped being into the dark arts and never stopped striving to be a death eater.
