Haha, a dark picture that’s too bright to look at.

This is for ~Sharpfang in exchange for his great work turning three of my pictures into pendants for me: [link] , [link] , and [link] .

~Sharpfang had such a great image concept. I hope I pulled it off.

I was so worried about getting this right that it took me WAY longer than it should have to color it. >_<
…Though it didn’t turn out anywhere near as good as the image I have in my mind. The pose isn’t as dynamic was I wanted and tried to make it, but I still like this image anyway.
I tried adding rain to it, but it didn’t look all that good and took away from the overall picture, so I removed it.

I think I may have gotten the horse’s shoulder muscles right for once.

Original image is 24 x 18 inches.

EDIT: Sorry, it seems I went a bit overboard on the resizing, so reuploaded it with a slightly larger version.
