My friend bought a whole bunch of Naruto figurines when she was in China and brought them over yesterday XD There was a Sasuke one, which coincidentally looked a lot better than the rest [dammit!]...Kiba looked pregnant, Rock Lee looked like he was wearing eyeshadow, and Sakura...-cracks up laughing- The distance between her eyes was HUGE XD

Pregnant!? XD Maybe these were Chinese copies? The Japanese ones seem to be pretty high quality considering they`re fairly small. I got a few in the US, but they mostly had the less popular characters (Sound Four)...I found a figure shop here in Japan. Now I have Haku (!!!!!!!!!!) and Temari (yay!). And a lot of others as souveneirs for my friends.

Haku has his ankles encased in ice, and Temari technically only has the handle of her fan, but other than that they don`t really have any defects. XD

xDDD; But if they have non-silly looking figurines of the Otonin trio anywhere, I'm stealing them. >__> Only if they're too expensive to buy though. XD;

That's so awesome. D; I want a Haku figurine! For some reason it seems to me that Haku and Zabuza don't nearly have as many fans as they deserve. [Or maybe the fans are all just hidden underneath all those Sasuke fans. >__<]

Really!? Well, there were about 50 million of them in the Uwajimaya in Seattle. XD I got Tayuya and Sakon before I`d even seen any episodes with them, just because they were OMG Naruto figurines! Eventually I snagged a Kabuto and a Kiba too. They really had NO selection at all though. Nobody wanted Kidoumaru and Jiroubou. XD (Uh...including me...)

I doubt there were ever any Otonin Trio figurines. ;_; I feel they should at least have had Dosu, because that would be SO COOL, in all caps and everything. ( But then there WAS a Tenten figurine, so you never know. O.o; )

I thought the Sound Four sounded interesting (plus I can`t resist the minions) but I felt they didn`t get much character development, so I ultimately wasn`t that interested in them. :/ Which is just as well, considering that I already like a lot of other dead characters, and might not be able to handle any more from this show.

You might look online to see if you can order figurines. They aren`t too expensive, I`d say $4-$8 dollars depending on size/popularity/newness. If you DO find one, tell me, in case they have Haku from an earlier figure series.

I love little figurines. They`re cool and relatively inexpensive. And there are a lot of figurines, and a lot of characters I like. I might have to go back for Shikamaru.

I think Haku and Zabuza actually have a large number of fans, considering that they`ve been dead (*sniff*) for awhile. If you notice in the Naruto character popularity polls from Shounen Jump, both of them stayed pretty high up there for a long time. In fact, in Vol. 26 they showed the most recent (?) poll, and Haku was a whopping 15th, not enough to get drawn, but right above Tsunade and less than 20 votes away from Lee. For comparison, Hayate got 20th (Yay! I`m kind of surprised he got so many votes) and Kankurou got 30th. (Although I bet his popularity will get much higher soon.) Zabuza wasn`t on there, though. I think Haku fans are loyal/obsessive...not to mention that Haku was just a good character. And died tragically, forcing us to cling to his memory forever. (No, I`m really not THAT bad...) And Zabuza was badass and got redeemed in the end, so he got a lot of fans too. But more Haku and Zabuza fans would always be good. It bothers me when people say they actually hate Haku and/or Zabuza, like this on this one website I was on the other day. Apparently that person hated them because she thought they were highly overrated and didn`t deserve all their fans. ;_; Needless to say, I disagree.

Of course, everyone`s entitled to their opinion, including their opinion of who they hate. My comments about, say, Touga or Sasuke* would probably bother fans of those characters. I try not to insult any characters my friends like, though, since I don`t want to hurt them. I have bad memories of a friend mocking me for liking a certain character. >.< Unfortunately, I didn`t realize for awhile that *maikosoft liked Touga. XP I don`t think my sarcastic comments bothered her, though. Now, with Naruto, we enthuse over Wet Kakashi together, so all is well. XD Er, except for her choice in character pairings...ahem.

With Haku, I`m actually kind of surprised that I like such a popular character. XP I feel like I`d normally be liking a more minor character, let`s use Dosu here, the best, and thinking ``What`s so great about HAKU!? Why do they have figures of him and not Dosu!? So what if Haku has hair!`` ....But fortunately that is not the case. Haku`s my favorite, and he`s also pretty popular despite being dead. Yay!

*Like this one: Can you believe Sasuke got FIRST in the poll listed in Vol. 26!? O.o; He just ran off to join Mr. Evil, causing his fellow villagers much worry and occasionally near-death experiences, and then tried to kill Naruto, who was the closest thing Sasuke had for a friend and was trying to save him. I felt sorry for Sasuke when it was showing flashbacks to his past, but then he went and made the wrong decision when faced with the choice of revenge/friends, and I went back to thinking he was dumb. ARGH.
