Drew this shortly after shimamas reveal a while back.It turns out I really like electric zebras
It is small, about 4 by 5 inches, done with coloured pencil and watercolour and drawing inks.
If you could resist bashing the new pokemon in the comments I would appreciate it, I am getting tiered of seeing it everyware and I do actually like most, if not all of them
Shimama belongs to pokemon.

This RULES. I love most all of the new Pokemon, and both of the electric zebras are high on my list of favorites!

But there aren't that much stripes on it to say that is a pure zebra I think ...
These stripes are more looking like lightning patterns that warns attackers from it's might ^^"

I must say Shimama here rocks the socks. sorry to pop the Shimama fan club parade but, I'm not to big on shocking zebra's. Shandera stole my heart D: Although I also want to add, for people framiliar with the new generation... most of the pokemon lok like they hired kindergardeners to do the art... just look at Crimgan... when I saw that I was so upset with Pokwmon t.t. Atleast I dislike the majority of them, The likeable ones could be counted with fingers.

Not a bad work at all! Personally, I don't care for the lightning zebra unicorn, but you made him look pretty good!
I'm really, REALLY hoping Wild Bolt doesn't turn out to be Shimama's signature move, or if it is, that it can be bred to an Elekid. No fair that Pikachu gets Volt Tackle, and I'm stuck with Thunderpunch.

This is a very beautiful rendition of what Wild Bolt could be. Sadly, Game Freak will still use the same pixelated crap they've been using for ages.

i like the fanart of the new pokemon, but the official drawings look kinda...well, goofy.
your shimama is positively awesome! ah, those muscles and details will never show up in official pokemon art.
thats it i've decided, when i get the new game i'll catch one of these critters and name it Lytnin. like lightning. but spelled funny.

I think they should have an evolved form of Rapidash based off a winged horse. I thought of a cool name too! "Pegasun"
