Lovely piece!
I feel the colours and the naturalness greatly portray the feeling of Spring.
I will say, though, that it's a slight shame the petals are a bit chopped off. The framing is too tight, in that sense.
The aperture could be a bit wider, and the flower a bit sharper, perhaps... if only to make it more distinct against the background.
I also feel that you could have shot this from a different angle, maybe not looking at it on the same level, but.. to go underneath and shoot upwards, if that makes sense?
That's only just a thought. You should experiment with lots of different angles and see which one is best, if you didn't already, that is.
The lighting is pretty cool, though, and it's not a bad first attempt.
