This scenario ist so utterly batshit insane...I love it!
The idea is fresh and creative and makes for a great fuck-logic-itΒ΄s-all-about-the-fun-story.
What stories you could tell about a Black/Mexican/Native dominated Texan EmpireΒ Β

This, this is utter crap. The basic premise was that the CSA won its independence, but the slaves of Texas overthrew their white oppressors and founded a Romanesque type empire that stretched across the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico. Its extremely unlikely, but I did it to go along with a journal project I was doing a couple years ago.

I think it could have been an OKAY idea if I had done any research. I guessed at the borders of the 5 Civilized Tribes, put Alabama in Arkansas, and misspelled a good chunk of the names.Β

well that name sounds more cyberpunkish/badass than 'confederare states of america.
well 'southron confederation' but i dunno 'dixie' sounds like people with guns out, and borderline cyberpunk i guess

I was going for a lot of people with a lot of guns who dont like each other very much, but dislike their neighbors to the north so much more that theyre willing to consolidate their power to protect their proud independence.

As it is, the Civil War already went the way it should have-- slavery lost, freedom won, and the country remained intact.
The only way it could have been better (or at least cooler) is if the slaves themselves had taken over and formed a sprawling empire!
That's just awesome!

Two things; almost every map of the Roman Empire ive seen is in red (the best, to me, have black backgrounds), and how the Roman Empire is located around the Mediterranean Sea and the Texas Empire is located around the Gulf of Mexico

Why is the Alabama Territory in Arkansas

In this timeline's, the state of Alabama encompasses all of Mississippi and the other half of Arkansas. In fact, this Dixie is comprised of only Virginia(Virginia and Kentucky), Carolina(North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee) Georgia, and Alabama. They are much more like independent countries than a unified nation.
