La Brugeoise et Nivelles-built bi-directional PCC tram 6217 runs the Line 12 service 'Antwerpen-Centraal - Sportpaleis' on a wet and rainy day.

Delivered to the MIVG on September 30th 1971, 6217 spent most of her life in the city of Gent, becoming one of 22 that was upgraded to PCC2 standard in 2002. Although the type has been replaced by the new Hermelijn and Albatros series of bi-directional trams in its hometown, half a dozen have been transferred to the Antwerp network due to upcoming infrastructure works that mean the city's fleet of mono-directional trams cannot be used for a number of years on Line 12.
