I believe, Siemens Velaro is the most beautiful train in Europe and the second most beautiful in the world. 500 Series Shinkansen is still the #1 most beautiful, on my opinion...

I agree - mostly.

I have to say, though, that I'm really looking forward to seeing the Eurostar Velaro's entering service.  They really look impressive in their Eurostar livery!

it passes through Köln too... i was impressed by the roof too ..it keeps the station so bright...

Yes... however, I really do regret that they never thought about putting in shelters.  It can get pretty cold and windy in the station, especially if you have to wait for a bit! (As I first experienced on a cold October evening back in 2009...)
