Drawing something when you should be working makes the picture all the sweeter.
Really love this image. Not only does it demonstrate Rei's good fashion sense but it also demonstrates that she has lovely hair, that I want to stroke. >.> Brilliant background too, the bright pinks make he want to get get some fruity sweets.

The mountains came out very detailed. It's skillful how you used light and shadow to show their shape, rather than line, but kept the rocky texture visible as well. At first I actually didn't notice that that thick line containing the transparent pink area conforms to the shape of the mountain-tops. At first glance it gives it a sort of Graphic Design type of feel, especially with the thick, dark flower/tree shapes surrounding it. I also like how the same mountains are duplicated at the bottom -laugh-

Thanks man! The graphics design feeling was what I was shooting for. The way that you describe the mountains is exactly my philosophy in painting. Shadow and texture to show the form. And a liberal dose of Median/Cloud/Blur filter, hoho
The mountains are duplicated on the bottom and top, and the trees are also somewhat duplicated xD /LAZY
