Here's a sample of the sketch cards I illustrated for the Downton Abbey card set coming out in April.The top cards are standard 2.5 x 3.5, the smaller three cards measure 1.5 x 2.5
All illustrated with Copic Marker, Pitt pens, Prismacolor pencils & white highlight pens.

Your portraits are sublime! I love the small touches of light outlining eyelids and cheekbones, and I think the decision to use monochrome for the central images was inspired!

These came out really nicely, Chris, shame about the black and white/ colour quota cause these characters do just lend themselves to black and white so well!

Thanks, m-chan! Those are my favorites as well. I don't think the colored versions came out as well as the grey tones, and to honest, I would have rather done all the cards in grey, but we were required to do so many in color.
