I bet you were all wondering when i was going to be drawing this guy XD When i first saw his design i wasnt sure what to make of it. Its different. A little too straying from his parents designs in my opinion. But i guess its not entirely impossible considering we know nothing of nalas father. Its just weird like they took simba and threw on some funky markings....My drawing with his new marking: Tattoo VS Birthmark

Awww, this isΒ the cutest drawing of Kion I've seen yet! The Disney version has him looking a bit too wild in my opinion. And, onceΒ again, they completely overlooked Kopa!Β They couldΒ have beenΒ two brothers sharing adventures together. I wish you worked for Disney - you clearly know how to draw lion cubs better than they do at present.

I dont know i met anyone who hates him just yet. i just think we are all a little jarred by his funky design XD Im excited but im witholding any harsh judgement till i see the movie^^

But yeah, his design is pretty odd. I was more surprised that they would make another child for Simba and Kiara, and less surprised that they would make him look kind of goofy.

Yeah hes different looking, almost cringeworthy sometimes and haha this might sound stuck up but after seeing my "movie version" of him he looks less goofy and actually plausible and that wasnt even my intention. I was just trying to do those markings in a way i think the original animators would do them.Β I assumed he would still look stupid but i was pleasently surprised he didnt come out as bad

Yeah ... I can get behind the spots but the paw is what kills me the most it seems like a gimmick. The two tone hair is kinda funky. It is like they just threw a bunch of stuff at him and called it good. I want to know the thought behind this.
